  • Really great indoor/outdoor rug!

I bought this product based on others' reviews. I did lots of research for which rug would be best suited for my partially finished basement setting. I saw several other rugs that I was interested in, but the reviews all addressed how hard it was to make these rugs flatten out after shipping. I thought this was an attractive option, because I did not see others mentioning this problem here. I was so excited to receive this rug and see that it laid out perfectly right after shipping. It did have a small bump at the tighter end of the roll, but this quickly flattened on its own. This rug is a great size and a great value. I would highly recommend it.

  • Looks great but sheds so badly!

I've had this rug in place in my home for close to 2 weeks now. The good: - It looks great. Very close to the image on the site. The gray is a little more blue toned than it appears in the picture, but it still is very attractive. - It's comfortable. Feels wonderful on my feet. - Provides great insulation and noise reduction in an otherwise very noisy room The bad: - It sheds so terribly. If I don't vacuum every day or every other day, I get little pills of wool all over the place. It ends up on my pants, socks.. everything. The white part also sheds onto the grey, leaving just a hint of white speckles on the gray background. Not really noticeable unless you look closely. Hopefully the shedding will stop with time, but I have vacuumed this rug probably 10 times now and each time have to clean out my vacuum canister, as it is packed full of wool.

  • Handsome looking rug but poor quality.

This rug would be perfect for use outdoors, a screened in porch, sunroom, foyer, or mudroom, but not for our formal living room. We were looking for a traditional style rug for our formal living room/library. The first thing my husband said when picking up the rug is "Gosh, it's light for an 8x10". Ours came with two braided loops pulling up. Overstock was GREAT with our return and we have since ordered a difference replacement 100% wool rug from them, hopefully more durable than that last. The Liberty rug itself looks nice (from a distance) but feels like it's made of hardware store rope. After looking closer at the description, the polypropylene is what gives it that plastic-y feel and makes it much lighter than a wool rug. Double check the materials of any rug you order and if it made for use outdoors indicating a synthetic material. Also, the 8x10 product photo was a scaled version of an identical smaller rug. Where you see 10 white braids in the white/red border, there are in ...

  • The pattern is much larger than it looks.

The quality is good, but the pattern is misleading in the picture. It's very large circles not small ones. I ended up moving it to another room than where I originally planned to put it. So, I would recommend it if you want a large patterned rug, but not if you think those circles are small like the picture.

  • Soft and thick and the color matches the photo

I ordered the Milan Gray and the Solid Silver to see which color worked best for my living room. The silver is a mix of light and dark cool grays, while the Milan is a mix of very warm grays (brown tones) and a little darker than the silver. The silver goes better with contemporary furniture. Both are soft and thick and don't look cheap like some inexpensive rugs. I got a rug pad for mine. It does have an odor for the first week or so, but it goes away. Very happy with the rug so far, but haven't had it long enough to know how it wears, so I gave it a 4 star.
