Never having bought a flatweave rug, I didn't know what to expect. The texture is coarse, so it may soil with normal foot traffic (good that it's reversible); it must have a rug pad in order to lay on a tile or wood floor without wrinkling and shifting; the feel underfoot is fine; and the aqua color matches my living room wall color beautifully.

Love the style and color of the rug! True to the color in the picture I wish it was a little plus her or softer! But overall nice!

This is pretty much just what I expected - I knew it was wool, so it wasn't going to be the softest rug in the world, and it is actually slightly softer than I had anticipated. It's the perfect size to fit under our huge sectional and really completes the living room. It's mostly underneath the couch and coffee table - based on its texture I wouldn't use it for something like a playroom or bedroom. The only issue was that it smelled REALLY bad when we first got it (my fiance said that it smelled like cat pee) but we just grabbed a can of Febreeze and now all is well.

This is a great rug for the price. The colors are great in our living room. The rug is thin - but we also purchased a thick rug pad to go underneath it and it is a great combination. The rug doesn't slip with the rug pad on our hardwood floors. Without the rug pad, it would slide all over. The rug appears to be reversible if you did spill something you couldn't get out of it. It is not a super soft rug as it is wool, but it isn't abrasive either. Vacuuming is easy. Highly recommended as we searched for a year trying to find the perfect rug.

This rug is made by a very reliable manufacturer, and it shows! Looks great, is evenly sized, lies flat, etc. Two weeks of high-traffic use showed little shedding or pilling so far (most likely thanks to better-quality rugs having longer fibers in the weave). Earlier reviews indicated that the color is not really an olive tone - which I would expect to be a grayish/brownish green - nor is it as golden or bright as the green in the screen image, but a nice soft leaf green. The trellis pattern looks yellowish in the image but really is ivory and works well with the green.

I really love the pattern of these dhurrie rugs. They seem impossible to find for a decent price so I was glad to get this one so "cheap"..I will say, this rug is rough..Not very sit friendly and most definitely needs a carpet pad if you want any sort of cushioning. Because it is so thin, it moves easily on my wood floors, even with a gripper pad. So I had to put the grip tape around the entire perimeter. In the future, I probably wouldn't by this type of rug again. It is really nice looking and does give the room pop..it just isn't very functional unless you have a good portion of it covered in heavy furniture. I imagine it will be easy to clean of spills though.

I am loving this new area rug for our family room. It looks amazing and I get a ton of compliments on it. My only complaint would be that it sheds if you have children and they crawl or lay on it. You cannot beat the look for the money!

Love this rug. It's subtle color and timeless appearance make it a keeper. I placed a rug pad under it as one would assume. However the corners turn up a bit and had to place books to correct the issue for a while. But a minor issue as that solved the problem easily.

I couldn't be happier with this rug. It is a safavieh rug, which the listing didn't mention. In Australia (where I live) the same size safavieh would have cost triple what I paid including the international postage charges from overstock. The quality is great and it looks even better in person than in the pics.

I absolutely LOVE this rug! Like other reviewers noted, the green is FAR lighter in person. It's almost like a really soft, muted lime/grass green. The patterned portion is ivory color. Shedding hasn't been an issue for us so far (about a month in) and it vacuums up easily. Ours was 4" short (only 9'8") so if you have a need to have it a very specific length, know it might not be a full 10'. I definitely recommend getting a nice thick 1/4" think rug pad since it is on the thinner side. It feels great with it underneath. It's wool, so a bit scratchy (but not abrasive) but really not bad at all. I sit with my two toddlers on it regularly and we're just fine with the material.

Arrived damaged... Overstock issued a prompt refund. Print was very pretty but the rug is super thin. I didn't look at the pile height but all the dhurrie rugs will be thin. The 'Chatham' rugs are plush. Don't know about shedding or slipping as I didn't keep the rug.

This rug has a great pattern and the colors go wonderfully in our room, however I was hoping that the rug would be thicker than it was. It is a flatweave pattern which I am not a big fan of. But since we had searched high and low for this size rug and a geometric pattern, we decided to keep it and add a rug pad underneath. Not too shabby.

i wanted an affordable rug to replace my high-maintenance, wool oriental. i have pets and just wanted something that i can afford to replace easily. i like the fact that the rug is reversible. it fits the room nicely and is easy to vacuum. one end curls up. i highly recommend a rug pad to go under it.

This is the first large area rug I've purchased so I don't have a lot to compare it to. I was very happy with the color, it's a nice dark navy blue, and the design is more of an off-white/wheat color. It looks great on my light hard wood floors. The rug is pretty thin, so I did purchase the rug pad to go with it and that made a big difference. My only "complaint" would be that the rug is not comfortable, it's not a rug that you would want to sit on to play a board game on the floor or something, it's very picky and itchy since it's made of wool. I'm surprised my pets even lay on it. But other than that, it looks great and complete our living room nicely.

Beautiful rug that fits the space perfectly. I wish it was a little softer, but it seems to get better with vacuuming. Best price I have found... Just beware the color is off. I had seen it on a blog, so I knew the colors didn't look like the picture. Lighter green and design is ivory not yellow

Love this rug! It's definitely a teal instead of a blue, but I could tell that from my computer screen. It's a nice flat weave, not too thin. I have a cat and she likes to claw at it. So far she hasn't damaged it at all. It also can be reversible like other flat weaves, identical pattern on reverse side. It adds a nice modern touch to my living room. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Rug was packaged really well. Came in heavy plastic bag. Rolled out easily on to floor. This rug is a dhurrie rug which is a thin, rougher type wool. There is no added backing on the rug so it is thinner than a lined wool area rug. The rug is beautiful. The color is more blue-ish gray than gray. The texture is a bit more scratchy on your feet than soft. If you are looking for a soft rug then this is not your rug.

We love this rug in our living room. Thankfully I already knew that the color on the site was wrong, or I would have been upset when I got it. Because the actual color is a light grass green with almost white accent lines. I'm not sure why the color shown is so wrong. But be aware of that if you are thinking about buying this. We have a young cat who sometimes does get her claws into the rug and pull up strings, but I either tuck them back in or cut them off. Hopefully she'll grow out of that. The rug is thinner than I expected, so it definitely needs a rug pad. It is wool, so it's not cushy and it does shed a bit. However, it's what we were looking for so it works great for us.

We bought this rug for our bedroom. It is very high quality wool and after a couple vaccums, does not shed very much. The rug does not have a high pile and is not "plush," so if that is what you're looking for, I wouldn't buy this rug. However, it is very good quality and is a really nice design element. It is bold geometric pattern but the colors are still neutral.

This is a Dhurrie-style rug. It is woven, and made of good quality wool. The design is just as it appears online. It's a very nice, larger-scale geometric pattern. Overall, it looks great. The quality is good, and is a good value. Definitely get a good pad to go under it. The only downsides are (a) the wool does not have a soft feel under bare feet (but this is typical with a Dhurrie, snf not something that surprised me, but I thought I'd mention it. Also, (b) the color shown on my computer screen is a light pewter gray. In real life the color is a much darker, mid-tone gray. On the average gray scale from 1- 10, I'd give it a 5 or a 6. I thought it would be more around a 2 or a 3. I deemed it too dark for the room and am exchanging it for a similar rug in a different color. You can do a search for gray scales to see what I'm talking about in terms of color. Colors aren't "true" on computers and vary from screen to screen. But this color was a lot darker than it appeared on two of my devices, so it's probably pretty much the same for everyone. Overall, it's a very good rug. Great quality, good price, very attractive.

Rug looks a little "rougher" in person as far as the weave goes. If you are looking for a "perfect" sort of rug, don't get this one. It has a lot of character (imperfections) in the weave. I was going to put it in one of our downstairs rooms (playroom or living room) but after getting it, I decided to throw it over the existing (old, flat) wall to wall carpet in my boys' room. We are going to do a navy/orange theme, which I think will work nicely. Hoping the kids don't pick at it...it's the kind of rug a kid or pet could probably ruin pretty easily if they put their mind to it since there is a lot to pick at. It has been shedding a lot of threads and fibers too, but I haven't vacuumed it yet, so hopefully that will help. I probably wouldn't buy it again for what I was looking for, but it was a good price for a huge rug that added some color to a bedroom, and I really appreciate the fact that it's natural materials and no glued on backing that can break down over time. Regarding the back, it's basically reversible, except if you look really close, the ends are sewn under, so I guess there is officially a right side up...but most people wouldn't notice. If putting on hard flooring, will need a non-slip pad. Works fine with no pad on our thin wall to wall carpet. I think the description mentioned there was red in the rug...but not really. It's all orange with bits of tan.
