Most indoor/outdoor rugs do not look this nice. The green in this rug is a bit more olive/yellow but it still looks great. The border and small dark areas are a chocolate brown. This looks great in my dining/kitchen area. I would definitely recommend for indoor use.

Beautiful contemporary thick rug in Florida house. Maybe lighter in color than expected but looks beautiful & plush

This rug looks fantastic! Love that the pattern in it is a bit more organic, not just geometric matching triangles. It is a creamy white and the brown is a black brown (I have it in a room with gray sofas and colors look nice together). Has a nice high pile that is cozy and lays in all directions so footprints aren't totally visible. Only negative (which I was aware of at purchase) is that it sheds - a lot. Had it down just over a month and it's getting better, but still fills up vacuum every time, like 4 times a week. Just beware, beautiful with a - hopefully temporary- downside.

Bought the largest version of this rug 2 years ago for new hardwood floors - the colors and contemporary design are PERFECT and just what I wanted - makes a fantastic statement in the room. Yes, it's thin - I layered 2 good quality felt rug pads underneath to make it a bit more plush (I like to sit & lay on the floor). The black has faded a little (the room gets tons of sunlight), but still looks great and has withstood regular traffic and very active dogs with no problem. The teal and blues are pretty much as shown, but the green is more of a darker olive - not brighter green shown online. LOVE the overall design and would buy this again without hesitation.

I guess I should have realized that an indoor/outdoor rug wouldn't be the softest on the feet but we like the colors and design. It's a beautiful rug but the way it was shipped put creases in the rug that have yet to flatten out. It's been about 2 months and the creases don't seem to be getting any better.

This was nice quality - however ours had a defect - line running thru it - like a slice. They took it bag - no problems or questions. I'm sure another one would have been fine - however my daughters didn't like the white was "tannish" they wanted more white and lime green. We ordered another geometric shaped lime and white - same size, brand, etc - and it's excellent. I give this five stars because it was nice and if wasn't a defect - which I'm sure was random - it was pretty and sturdy and nice.

This was my first purchase from Overstock but doubt it will be my last! I was looking for a carpet for a newly remodeled bedroom and with the pale green in the center it looked like a good choice. The rust color which some have commented was more red than rust are partially correct. In natural sunlight it appears darker but when viewed under indoor lighting it is the rust color shown in the photo's. The quality is terrific and the wool is finer and softer than many carpets making it suitable for bedrooms or lower traffic areas. I will be buying a smaller one for my walk in closet next!

I purchased this Teal Trellis Rug for my living room because it was the right size, color and price at the time I bought it. As of today, it's $200 more than the price I paid. Finding a turquoise/teal rug proved to be difficult in the 9 x 12 size I wanted for a reasonable price. I only had 3 options and this one filled my needs more than the others. It was big enough for me to place my furniture completely on and it didn't protrude into the hallway. It was the right color for my color scheme and the pattern wasn't overly busy because it is a repeat geometric. It's a tightly woven, low nap loop construction making it easier to vacuum especially with a cat in the house. When I removed it from the packaging and laid it down there was a very faint chemical smell that dissipated within the day. And the driving factor was the price! Although the teal is more of a deep turquoise (which is what I wanted) the ivory is much darker than depicted and it just looks dirty although it's not. Wish it were whiter but it's not a deal breaker and I can live with it. I've had this rug down less than a week and there is some denting where the furniture legs rest on the rug but that's to be expected with any rug. I haven't had any pilling or shedding yet and don't think I will. Once I laid down the rug and placed the furniture on it, the whole room changed - it was quite amazing how 1 item changed the atmosphere of the living room and now it looks like a warm inviting place to be! Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to others.

We have several dogs, so we usually elect to purchase outdoor rugs for indoor use in all rooms. Much easier to keep dog hair from building up on these outdoor rugs. Also usually easier on the wallet when you're looking for a larger rug to cover a living area. With that said, some outdoor rugs look very much like an outdoor rug (typical patterns/styles - blah), and they're not suitable for indoor use if you care about the design of your room. This rug is my favorite outdoor rug I've purchased yet (over the years, we've been through plenty) for indoor use. The picture accurately shows what the rug looks like, colors shown in picture (on my monitor) were true to the color of the rug. The border and the 'dots' in the rug are a rich, chocolate brown with a bit of a velour-like fabric. The base rug (the tan part) has a nice texture/pattern that is very subtle, but gives it a more expensive look. The best part is the light green overlay that helps make the moroccan lattice pattern. It also has the velour-like texture as the chocolate fabric and is an overlay on the rug. It is tightly woven on, and I have had no issues with it snagging or pulling up, even with vacuuming. The rug is SO SOFT on your feet, but very durable. I always recommend taking the time with a new rug to spray Scotch Guard on it for extra stain protection. Outdoor rugs are easier to clean anyway in general. But I use the Scotch Guard for outdoor use (it's a slightly more expensive can than the general version). It is more water repellent and helps spills or accidents/stains lift right up. This rug has transformed the look of my room and compliments my grayish/green leather couch and taupe colors sitting chairs so well. I highly recommend this!
While they can last for many years, wool area rugs need to be taken care of properly in order for you to protect your investment. Improper care can lead to excessive shedding, fading, and wear; these are not signs that the rug is defective, but indications that the rug has not been treated with care. With the proper cleaning products and a little time, you can keep your wool area rugs looking great. Cleaning Wool Rugs: Never use a vacuum with a beater bar. All wool rugs shed, but a beater bar will cause excessive shedding and abrasions to your rug. Read More
