We are very happy w/ the rug in all aspects but one. It has a slight curve on one side. We have gotten many compliments on the rug and inquires as to where w/ purchased it.

I am happy with this rug for the price. it is a lovely design and the colors are warm and pleasing. it straddles the line between transitional and contemporary nicely, similar in feeling to more expensive pottery barn rugs.

The rug is very nice, but it is more of an outdoor rug than an indoor rug. The weave on the rug is very open, but with a nice rug pad, it can be fine for indoor use. We have heavy furniture that sits on the rug, so we needed something durable, and this definitely does the job! The green color of the rug is a tad bit brighter than what is shown in the picture.

I was a little worried, never purchased a rug sight unseen. It's large and inexpensive. Thought it might be plasticky, but it's not. I have boys, and dogs, so I wanted a rug I could hose off. I don't think anyone would know this was an outdoor rug. So, I'm pleased. It is taking a chance because who wants to return such a large item. I relied on the reviews, which is why I am writing one. Good luck.

The area rug is very stylish and contemporary. It has nice colors even though the picture shows up more gray it's has more of a blue gray color. I really liked the rug so even though the color was a little off I am still going to keep it. As for the pile of the area rug it's thick and comfortable under the feet.

The brown rug is is more a green/brown than the taupe color in the image. May have to return it even though it's perfect otherwise.

The color is not as it appears on my screen (and I use a monitor color calibrator) It looks camel tan and olive green in the picture and a very light beige and sage in person. If I were trying to relate it I would say the online picture looks like it would work in a Tuscan style room and in person it would work better in a Florida style room if that helps. Not a bad rug though.

Purchased this large indoor/outdoor rug for our basement basement (yes, that's on purpose - we call it "The Bowels of Zurg's Fortress"). It's an unfinished space, ugly and cob-webby, but we wanted to turn it into a habitable space for guests until we're able to fully remodel it (just bought the house six months ago). So we painted, removed ugly, poorly crafted shelving, cleaned up the webs, and bought this rug to cover the ugly green, cracked concrete floor. It classes the space up beyond words! I feel like Candice Olsen, truth be told (heehee). It's very thin, as you'd expect of an indoor/outdoor rug, but the design is GORGEOUS, and the colors are very accurate (I use a Mac laptop). It's not soft SOFT, but it's comfy enough (especially for The Bowels), and we're exceedingly happy with it. I would recommend it to anyone trying to bring either an indoor OR outdoor space up a notch or two without spending their life savings. The price simply CANNOT be beat. LOVE Overstock!!!

This rug is exactly the style I was looking for. The quality of the rug is not excellent but for the price I would say it is a very good value. It is in my dining room and when chairs are moved across it, it sometimes creates pulls in the fabric.

I love this rug! The tiled designs are a low pile tuft, and the background beige is a low weave. I love the pale green and the pale turquoise, also the browns and rust red colors. Has worn well a year later. No shedding, either.

This is a great rug for the money! The colors are true to the picture that was shown. It is actually softer than I expected with it being for indoor/outdoor use. (we are using it in our living room) Very happy with it.

I was very pleased when my rug arrived right on time. I will say the color looks more green than grey to me, so I was kinda of bummed about that. I took it our of the wrapping and laid it out on my floor and noticed some small black markings on the corners of the rug. It almost looks like its been used or stepped on a few times. I was very surprised by this. Why does my rug has black spots on it????? Luckily I was able to hide them under my night stand, even though a few still show- a little disappointing.Too much trouble to send it back and get a new one. Just really surprised Overstock would send a product like that.

The color on this photo looks dark olive green. The color is not green at all, but light taupe. The rug is nice, but the product is not as described. Also, the scroll pattern is not as small as shown in the photo. The scroll design is much more spread out and much larger. I love the rug, but it is not what I ordered. Thankfully it matches my decor.

I live in the Northeast, and had this rug out on my deck under my table with umbrella for the summer months. There was no real use except for a few bbq's, but no abuse. Within a month, the edges frayed, and came undone to where you could see a thick black string peeking out. And the colors faded completely! The red became a pale green over the course of 2 months! The green was different in different areas, so it didn't even fade evenly. I was very unhappy with this rug, and couldn't believe it didn't even last through the summer!

It took a little love when I rolled it out. I had it laying flat in an open area in my bedroom with items weighting down the edges so it would uncurl. The pattern is super nice. It is contemporary and rustic all rolled into one. I put it under my king sized bed over hardwood floors in my log home. It definitely needs a rug pad for under it to preserve your floors. I ordered the smaller one to put in front of french doors for for a little extra floor coverage. You can't beat the price and I would say it is an accurate depiction in the photos.

When I initially received this rug, I wrote a somewhat scathing, and perhaps unfair, review of the rug...interestingly it never appeared on the site. So, now I've had it a year and I guess I will say I am satisfied, although I don't think I would recommend this to a friend. First, the good. On my moniter the colors show up pretty accurately to real life. The blue is a sky blue, there is a lovely apple green, brown, and beige. This happens to be the basic color scheme for our basement den, so that and the design is what prompted me to buy. Now that it isn't shedding as badly, it looks very nice in the room. Also, initially we had problems with the rug b/c it wouldn't lay flat...it seems quite prone to creasing, well, with time that issue is now resolved. My original criticism remains, it looks fine (now that is is laying completely flat) but doesn't feel very soft or plush in my opinion. I just wasn't astute enough to pick it up, this rug, although wool, is not specified as New Zealand wool. Based on two rugs that I purchased from Overstock, the rug that had New Zealand wool in the description is extremely plush and soft. It not only looks but also feels like a high quality and expensive rug. This "Mayflower Sky" rug on the other hand, although it looks fine, is not nearly as soft nor as thick. I measure the pile height as 1/2". Bottom line: it's adequate for our basement application and for its price. However, I will make a point of looking for New Zealand wool in the future, and look at the pile height in the description more carefully as well.

This rug is beautiful however it is not the color portrayed. The color is more of a green tone than yellow green. I have this rug a month and already it is shedding all over especially the edges. I know it is wool but it feels more like jute. Overall, I don't expect this rug to last.

Very nice quality and thick. Nice contemporary style. It is dark, so be warned it may darken the room. It is grey, black and a slightly dark reddish in the middle. I don't see a green tint like another reviewer. The pattern looks more like stripes and less blended than it does in the online picture however.

I love this rug. It had more green in it than I realized from the picture, but that worked well with our decore. The brown in the rug ties in well with our oak wood floors. The rectangular shape and pattern give it a more contemporary feel than the typical oval braided rug. It feels soft under foot, and the multi-colored pattern does a good job of hiding our dog's black and white hair.

I've wanted a seagrass and/or sisal rug for many years now, and this is my first one. I'm so glad I ordered it! It looks fantastic in my living room, and it adds great texture to the room. One thing to note is that it has a very slight green undertone to it. Most neutral colors will have a slight undertone of either red, yellow, or green, and this one definitely has a slight green undertone. It's definitely a neutral color rug, and will probably go beautifully into just about any color room, but if you're putting it in a room with walls that are painted a neutral color that has noticeable red or yellow undertones, this might not be the right rug for your room. Again, the green undertone is ever so slight, but I noticed it as soon as I unrolled it. I was also quite pleased to see that it has a soft fabric backing on it, so there's no need to purchase a separate rug pad. It might have said that in the description, but evidently I overlooked it. I was fully expecting to have to pay additional money to purchase a rug pad so that it wouldn't scratch my newly refinished hardwood floors. Just be aware that if you're the kind of person who likes to sit or lie down on the floor while watching t.v. or something, this probably isn't the right rug for you. The seagrass is beautiful and adds gorgeous texture to the room, but it's certainly not soft. I'm not really a "lounge on the floor" kind of person, and I generally wear shoes, or at least socks, indoors so it's not a problem for me. But the few times I have gone barefoot and walked on the rug, I immediately notice how uncomfortable it is. So it's definitely more appropriate for a formal living room, guest bedroom, or some place where family members won't be sitting or lying on the floor.

I read reviews of this item before purchasing and was convinced it was the product for me. They and I were right! Having enjoyed this beautiful rug now for several months, I can attest to its durability and comfort. My cats enjoy it, although they tend to use it for a scratching post, I can detest no real damage! The rug is really nice underfoot and compliments my den area which while connected to an open floor plan, is easily delineated by this stylish additional. Although it is marketed as an outdoor rug, as other customers observed, it truly works well indoors too. Mine is in a sunny room that plays up the beautiful turquoise and green tones of the lively, yet "neutral" pattern. And again, I detect no color deterioration by this exposure. This rug blends into my decor enhancing the primarily dark-stained hardwood flooring and a mixture of antique and contemporary furniture. This one's a keeper, would that it came in other colors, patterns, I'd buy it again!
