We are very pleased with this rug. Excellent quality, vibrant colors and very comfortable to walk on. I did not expect the burgundy color to look as close to pink as it does. Actually, I think "Fuschia" is more accurate. Not sure I would have bought it if the photo was accurate, however, after placing the rug in our family room the colors work well together and compliments our decor, adding an unexpected splash. The white background is very nearly pure white. The rug was packaged well, although, the heavy plastic wrap was partially opened on one end of the rug, probably due to shipping. Fortunately, there was no damage to the rug. This rug will shed a little relative to the traffic, but an occasional vacuuming will take care of that. My only worry is staining. Since our kids are all grown, and visitors remove their shoes anyway, we should be ok. :) If you're looking for quality rug with a modern design this rug is one to consider.

This rug delivered quickly and was packaged in a neat roll. It is a little thinner than I anticipated; however, I put a thick rug pad under it. Overall, the design is as expected. The color is a true ivory color throughout. From the photo online, I anticipated ivory/white, but both the impressions and the raised area are the same ivory color.

This rug is beautiful - no doubt. I love the different textures/pile heights, and the contemporary fee. The greens go with just about anything - it matches my wall color perfectly and really "ties the [living] room together". That being said, I was mildly disappointed by the inaccurate portrayal of the colors in this rug online. I was thinking there would be a progression of color from green to blue with almost wihtes & gold mixed in. At least on my home & work computers, and even when I printed pictures of it, there seemed to be blues, or at least more silvers. The rug I received, however, has a PRIMARY color of different shades of green, and the secondary color is the sades of "light rust" aka brown. I was really hoping it would tie not just the living room together, but also my grey dining room and blue kitchen, but alas. I guess you can't have it all. Overall though, this is a great product. Expect to fill MANY vacuum bags. The info sheet that came with it said that it was normal for wool rugs to shed for a few weeks, but we're only just now seeing it slow down. They certainly aren't kidding around about that!

So I was nervous about ordering a big black outdoor rug, just because I feel like I usually go for the safe beige. But my outdoor furniture has a dark muted black metal with a stone top table and I was looking for something different. After it came and put it down........I love it!!!! It's so contemporary and adds a warm cozy-ness to my big deck. So don't be nervous take a chance!!!! Look rich too! I get lots of compliments on it.

Overall, I am in love with this rug. My husband and I debated over it for about a week before taking the chance on it. The pictures shown are fairly accurate in terms of color, but the description does not relate well. There are no gold tones, which I am happy about (I didn't want gold tones). Looking at the pictures, I expected more of a light lime green- the green is actually more of a light, brighter olive. The blue is not pale, but more light robins egg blue, which really makes it pop. I would not describe the rug as being beige. The lighter raised sections between the swirls are more cream in color. Some swirls are also a light/medium gray. The base of the rug (beneath the raised swirls) is taupe in color, and brings a nice, contrasted texture. The circles themselves have a bit of sheen, whereas the base feels more woven. The rug is thinner than I expected, but it is fine. I guess I expected it to feel plush, but it is not. it does, however, feel sturdy and looks expensive. I was drawn to it because it is unique, you won't find a pattern like this in stores. It fits beautifully with our decor and furniture, so I am happy. We paired it with a dark brown leather modern sectional, and a gray accent chair- it looks fabulous!

I saw this rug in a furniture store at a much higher price, so I was pleased to buy it at a nice discount from Overstock. I like the colors and contemporary look with my simple black and white furniture in a gray room. One negative....the pile height is different on the center of the squares and higher on the edges. This makes it hard to vacuum and hard on my vacuum cleaner. Other than that, I really like it, my dog likes it, and it makes a nice presentation.

I would highly recommend this rug to anyone. It is a nice thick wool rug with some shedding which is normal for wool rugs. I love the colors of the rug, it blends well with my sage green walls and looks fabulous under the formal dining table. The room has a very artistic and whimsical feel with the contemporary pattern. The shipping was prompt-about 3 days. Nothing negative to say regarding this purchase.

The description says .625 in. thick, its not. Its as thin as an indoor/outdoor carpet. The field color is dark beige, not ivory or cream. This rug should be in a cabin or beach house, NOT a traditional dining room. If you're looking for a more formal rug, do NOT order this one, you'll be greatly disappointed. This rug is meant for an extremely casual lake house/cabin type environment. Website does not accurately describe this rug, very misleading. BEWARE!! I am returning this rug.

The color is in the cool family, so there are no warm tones and makes it great for a modern or casual design. We bought a 9 x 12, and it's the full length and heavy, so it's not for the faint of heart to roll out with existing furniture. The darker area feels like wool and the lighter area feels like shag/silk it's so soft. I've only had it a short time, so I don't know if it sheds or not. It is a bargain for a New Zealand wool rug, and it's a keeper!

This rug is perfect for my needs (protector/cover flat weave without backing on top of apartment wall to wall carpet). Strong but soft flat weave - NOT the plastic weave of many outdoor rugs... this is a true indoor/outdoor rug. Even though actual colors were just slightly darker than the picture showed, they are still perfect for the room's color & design schemes. Very strong weave, not only beautiful but HIGHLY strong functioning as protection to carpet. Lack of any backing decreases "bunching up" or "moving" due to too much rug stacking on each other. perfect!!!

This rug is exactly the style I was looking for. The quality of the rug is not excellent but for the price I would say it is a very good value. It is in my dining room and when chairs are moved across it, it sometimes creates pulls in the fabric.

When I initially received this rug, I wrote a somewhat scathing, and perhaps unfair, review of the rug...interestingly it never appeared on the site. So, now I've had it a year and I guess I will say I am satisfied, although I don't think I would recommend this to a friend. First, the good. On my moniter the colors show up pretty accurately to real life. The blue is a sky blue, there is a lovely apple green, brown, and beige. This happens to be the basic color scheme for our basement den, so that and the design is what prompted me to buy. Now that it isn't shedding as badly, it looks very nice in the room. Also, initially we had problems with the rug b/c it wouldn't lay flat...it seems quite prone to creasing, well, with time that issue is now resolved. My original criticism remains, it looks fine (now that is is laying completely flat) but doesn't feel very soft or plush in my opinion. I just wasn't astute enough to pick it up, this rug, although wool, is not specified as New Zealand wool. Based on two rugs that I purchased from Overstock, the rug that had New Zealand wool in the description is extremely plush and soft. It not only looks but also feels like a high quality and expensive rug. This "Mayflower Sky" rug on the other hand, although it looks fine, is not nearly as soft nor as thick. I measure the pile height as 1/2". Bottom line: it's adequate for our basement application and for its price. However, I will make a point of looking for New Zealand wool in the future, and look at the pile height in the description more carefully as well.

The product is beautiful. I needed something unusual contemporary and modern. This Hand-tufted Light Gold Wool Rug meets all my expectations. The colors are vivid and gorgeous but as the name hints it is more goldish in the background than it is showing on the picture (light beige). This is already second rug from OVERSTOCK and I am very happy with both othem.

I love this Moroccan Trellis Rug. I am using it under my dining room table and chairs and it is absolutely perfect. I does not have the look of an outdoor rug at all and could easily be thought of as an indoor rug. I really like the way the white trellis design contrasts against the blue background and the geometric shape of the white design calls to mind a lovely outdoor trellis. I am very happy with this purchase.

Very nice colorful (more muted and earth tones) geometric rug. It really livened up our living room!

I went back and forth with this and a couple of other rugs and settled on this one. The design is very William Morris and the colors are lovely--the background is ivory with some gold, the greens are a sage and some olive in the center, orange, and gold. Other reviews mentioned shedding, but it's been nearly a month and I haven't noticed any more than with any of my other wool rugs when they were new. Definitely get a pad for it; the rug itself is thick but a pad always feels better on the feet. The wool is relatively coarse but that means it will hold up well over time. If you're looking for a rug background like old parchment or an amber color, note that this rug is lighter than that. It's not an off-white ivory, but a dark cream with gold flecks. Be prepared for the weight of this - I bought the 9 x 12 and it's hard to handle alone. It was well packaged from the manufacturer, so I was able to get it up a flight of stairs by myself, but I needed help to unroll and spread it. Any packaging wrinkles flattened out within a day or two

I had been looking and admiring this rug for a while... I didn't want a bold geometric, nor your traditional Persian. It goes perfectly with an eclectic look , from traditional, modern, or even southwest. And it was an incredible value!
