REALLY like the looks of this rug! Have it laid on hard wood, and feels quite cushiony without an underpad. I also ordered the same pattern in a 3' X 5' as an entry rug into the living room. A little disappointed as the binding on the large rug is brown and the binding on the smaller rug is burgundy. I prefer the burgundy binding, but the brown looks great too! Just wish they were both the same.....

I previously bought this rug in a smaller size (3' x 5') & loved it, but sold it. When we moved, the living room had wood laminate flooring, so I knew immediately the rug I wanted to cover & protect it, so I ordered the 8' X 10' & it looks awesome! My couch & love seat are a beigy gold chenille, & all the other colors accent the pillows & other accessories. It's traditional but goes well with my 'country elegance' decor, & would go with other styles too.

Absolutely love this carpet. I purchased the 8 x 10 as well as the 5 x 7. I normally purchase wool area rugs - yet the 8 x 10 is just as plush. The colors (a dark red-more of a deep dark red, sage, cream, and a bit of a blue/steel-very gait).. pulled my kitchen/ informal dining rooms together. I puchased these for hardwood floors (red oak-w/ walnut feature strip)..uba tuba granite counters, a cherrywood furniture. I wanted something nore informal & grandchildren proof. I was so surprised and pleased with these carpets. Note that these work well in a well lit area.. they are on the dark side. I did not use a carpet pad (one is placed under a large table & chairs). I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. I really want to thank everyone who left a rating - I closely read the decriptions and based my purchase on all your input. Thanks everyone... & especially Overstock for having such a great value!

This is my first time ordering a rug from overstock. I have been looking at area rug for about 6 months now and couldn't pull the trigger. The reviews and the price ultimately made my decision and I absolutely LOVE it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The rug looks amazing in my family room with my wood floor, and brown leather couch. Soft enough for my 8 month old granddaughter to roll around on and practice crawling. :) I did buy a felt rug pad to go underneath. That is a must My husband was in the floor covering business as a wholesaler for 18 years, with all of his connections, he couldn't come up with an area rug this unique and at this price. Everything I looked at locally was at a minimum $350 -$450 plus sales tax. and looked like every other geometric/tapestry rug, UGG! I wanted the rug to be a statement piece in the room and it certainly is. Haven't had any friends over yet to see it but my adult children love it . Also shipping was super fast, I received it 3 days after I ordered it. Even though the e-mail I received said 5 days. I am currently looking for another rug for my living room

You get what you pay for with this rug. It's cheaper than most, so don't expect the moon and you'll be fine. It's on the thinner side, and of course it's wrinkled - to be expected when you order and have a run shipped. The wrinkles fell out after a month. Ours is in a high traffic area so it's flatter but no tears, loops or anything like that. Hides pet hair, and so far nothing has stained it. I have one 5 x 8 and ordered the 8 x 10 to put under our kitchen table.

I looked at so many rugs I was giving up hope. This one (and the same in runner and 5 x 7) look(s) great in the kitchen. I would have liked to have found them in wool, but I love the design and the colors. l might get a carpet pad to go under it because poly rugs just don't have the depth of wool. But that's my personal preference. This poly rug has plenty of pile and it is super soft. I would buy it again.

I debated buying a rug online, but after looking at prices in retail stores I decided to buy this rug for my family room and the 5' round one for my kitchen. I have a baby who will be crawling soon, and this is a very soft rug for her to play on. The colors are more vibrant than pictured online and match nicely with my walls & cherry floors. My only complaint is that the measurements are not correct ~ my rug measured more like 8' x 10' instead of almost 11' in length that was advertised. I bought a rug pad that was 8'x10' and it matches up perfectly, so that is one good thing.

I was looking for a rug that had red in it and I happened upon this one on Overstock. I placed this carpet in my dining room and it added just the splash of color I was looking for. I have a frosted green glass dining table with light oak legs surrounded by black simple modern chairs. It's absolutely stunning! The colors are exactly like the photo and it's so comfortable you don't need a pad underneath it! I love everything about it. My adjoining kitchen has two, 2 x 3 rag rugs with red, yellow and green and the colors all match perfectly. I also have a red and gold bamboo printed rug nearby and those colors also match perfectly. The price is also great considering it's an 8 x 10 rug.

I obviously like this rug as I have now purchased the same for 3 different rooms. The rust color in the rugs is a good match for the rust color of my kitchen walls making all the rooms tie together great. Now if Overstock would only get the 5' round rug back in stock (in that same design), my decorating would be done. Hopefully this will happen before the holidays are upon us.

Great rug. Serves the purpose we need it for, which is to disguise stains under our kitchen table as our 1-yr old learns to eat. It does quite well for that and will last a long time. The only negative thing I can say is that it does shed quite a bit. It needs to be vacuumed daily in the beginning and at least 3 x per week after that. Colors are true, pile is very thick. The colors do get muted due to the shedding, but become more vibrant after vacuuming.

The wool is very rough to the touch but given it's for a kitchen - it works! Wouldn't want that feel in a den/LR though.

Almost 4 years ago I bought this large rug and the matching 3'x5' and 5' oval for my dinning room and entry way and kitchen nook. I am still thrilled with this purchase! It's the perfect blue/grey which is hard to find. I get compliments often. I even matched my accent wall paint to the rugs to tie the room together. These rugs are more beautiful and vibrant than the pictures show. They are plush and hold up well to daily wear and fading. The quality and the price are a great value. I highly recommend these area rugs and I'm very picky consumer. Thanks overstock!

I have looked at rugs on-line for about 3 years looking for pattern, color and pricing until I saw these rugs on overstock (I also bought the plum floral). I have also ordered the 9 x 13 rug in this pattern. Colors are Beautiful! The pattern is strong, but on the floor the 3 different blues on brown are very eye pleasing. The pile is short and very dense (not shag) which is exactly what I wanted; it'll fit under the threshold of a door if necessary. It has a soft back so that it won't rub my expensive hardwood floor. I'm very pleased!

Love the rug, shame the colour is nothing like pictured. In the photo the rug has a very slight grey/green/teal hue to it. In real life the rug is baby blue - so much lighter than the photo. Also in the 8 x 10 size there are 5 'emblems' across the width of the rug, not 4 as pictured. I can't fault the quality or price, but I was disappointed with the colour. Not disappointed enough to go through the drama of sending it back from Australia, though.

I like the rug; it adds a great deal of color to our kitchen sitting area. My partner thinks it looks a bit old fashioned, but is confident that it will grow on her. I hope so :-)

I love the rug. Of course it's not supersoft wool rug, it is a more firm and robust material, kind of similar to those sisal rugs for the kitchen. But i expected and needed it like that because I wanted to use it outdoors. And i am absolutely happy with the purchase! The rug looks great and has no Problem with rain whatsoever. It dries superquick. It looks so good, i can definitely also imagine at indoors.

Love this rug! I have had the rug for 4 days now and am so happy I purchased it. The colors are great, (they go well with my sage colored walls and neutral couch and chairs). It is more than 1/2 inch thick and plush, (you don't need a pad, I did use about 6-8 pieces of double sided carpet tape to keep it from tripped over)! The wool feels soft under your feet, not rough or scratchy. The 8 X 11 size was great for my hardwood floors and there is still around a 2 foot border in my living room. It is also great for people with a dog/pets. My dog is black and sheds a lot and it is hardly noticeable. After looking at probably 500-600 online over 3-4 days, I am glad I made this purchase!! Highly recommended to others.

Like the first reviewer, I took a chance on this rug since there weren't any reviews available except for one review for a different size that mainly complained about the red being "too bright". The rug is darker in person than what is shown in the picture. The border thread and edge carpet are dark brown, not dark blue-ish as in the pic, and there seems to be less "open space" than what is in the picture (more blocks of color/pattern). The light silvery blue in the picture is actually more of a medium/dark blue-gray, and the red is a deeper red, not flashy in my opinion, and it's a blue/brown toned red, not orangey (I like it). I'd prefer that the beige and blue tones were perhaps one or maybe one-half shade lighter, but I'm actually pleased that the beiges are darker than the picture and I really like the overall combination of patterns and colors. Our furniture and walls are neutrals/olives, so the blue and red add a nice pop of color, and the overall effect is quite pretty and not 'loud'. Based on the rugs we looked at in-store, this rug is quite soft and perfectly fine in terms of thickness for the price (about the same or better than ones we were considering for more $$). No, it's not carpet & pad soft, but I laid on it for 10 minutes or so comfortably with no rug pad; we sprang for the "durable" thicker rug pad here on overstock, but I think we could have gotten by with the cheapie one without extra padding ok (disclaimer: we are used to just our wood floors so anything may feel much softer!). We aired it out in our spare bedroom with an exhaust fan for a few days (the smell wasn't bad, just noticeable). The kinks from being rolled up are gradually releasing. I've noticed that one corner has yet to lie flat, but it's the high-traffic corner nearest the kitchen, so it may take longer with people passing over it/kicking it. Shipping was quite fast (3 days from order to delivery) and my only complaint is that the plastic cover was open on one end, which MAY have been a mistake, but damage was possible (or if it was raining - ack!). I'm keeping my fingers crossed for long-term durability, and I'm hoping we can find rugs for our other rooms just as good on overstock in the future. Overall, not quite 5 stars for not being a little closer to the picture but more than 4 stars for being quite pretty and soft (say 4.7!) for this rug, in my opinion.

I am a frequent rug buyer at Overstock. All my rugs (x4), many accessories, and a large coffee table have been purchased from O. This is the first item I haven't been pleased with. While the design of the rug is fabulous, I experienced immediate shedding and pilling. Shedding is normal for rugs so I wasn't concerned about that. What concerned me more was the fact that when I vacuumed it, the rug pilled like an old sweater and I could pull the fibers of the rug easily out of the backing with my fingers. Each time I vacuumed, the pilling got worse and more fibers came out. Just not woven well at all and by day 3 it literally looked like I had the rug for years. A note about Overstock - I had heard they had fabulous customer service. The return process was VERY easy and the minute I told the person that it was defective they started processing a return where I had my funds back within 5 days of returning the rug to the warehouse. It makes it SO much easier to buy things online without seeing them knowing that if the product turns out to be a dud Overstock will take care of you. While this rug didn't work out - thanks for the wonderful O experience.
