I purchased this rug and it was delivered tightly and expertly wrapped in several layers of plastic and brown paper. Opened it up, and found good and bad things: On the good side, it's lovely and exactly what I wanted. The colors are as described; sand-yellow, very muted sage, and some thin burgundy lines which could easily pass for burnt orange (as I wanted) with the right accent fabrics in the room. The rug appears well-made and is relatively plush, maybe 5/8" thick and tightly woven. However, on the bad side, the very bad side, the rug was damp all through (from the warehouse, I guess) and absolutely reeks. Perhaps this was the 'herbal wash' that wasn't allowed to dry before shipment (?) This is a return item, unless the smell goes away. Have only had it 1 day, and we'll be taking it out in the hot sun for 3-4 days to air and dry out. Then it'll come back indoors and if the smell's truly gone, great! If not, it goes back. The smell is really strong, not just new wool rug smell. Not sure if there's mildew and mold smells in there too, who knows how long it was damp like that, but as of now the odor is unacceptable in nature and strength. Too bad, because the rug is perfect for my room. Here's to hoping!

Looks like the picture, a bit thinner than I expected but works perfectly well in our living room. The blue patterns are natural and it shows the weave of the rugs natural threads, it was in perfect condition on arrival and shipped well packaged.

This is a nice runner rug for the price. The black is not a deep black, it is somewhat muted due to the fabric/threads. The scroll pattern is a slightly darker taupe than I had envisioned, but it is fine. I suppose it will do better with concealing dirt/wear anyway. The rug is not plush, it is pretty flat, though it is comfortable underfoot. I bought two of these to reduce wear and echo in my long hardwood hallways. They definitely need rug grippers underneath to keep them from sliding. Biggest drawback is that they are shipped VERY tightly rolled, so it has taken a good 2+ weeks for them to seem like they are finally laying flat to the floor. I am pretty happy with my purchase.

I love the look of this rug. Starting to wear on the edges. It's a good rug for continuous foot traffic. Will probably have to replace it soon.

Great rug but it is almost a charcoal gray which is not at all what I thought I ordered.

This rug is exactly the style I was looking for. The quality of the rug is not excellent but for the price I would say it is a very good value. It is in my dining room and when chairs are moved across it, it sometimes creates pulls in the fabric.

The picture here shows a normal shag rug and this rug is anything but normal. The pile is 2.5-3 inches long, 1/4 inch wide and flat - like white fringe. The fabric is hand knotted pieces and those pieces are spaced about 1/2-3/4 inches apart so you can see the canvas that the fabric is knotted to. It's not soft or particularly comfortable (although not uncomfortable.) I ordered this thinking I was getting a normal white shag rug and this is not. All that being said, its funky. As in, its kinda groovy. People want to walk on it and feel it between their toes. It looks like someone threw confetti on the floor. You need to think of it as a statement piece and not a rug. I ended up keeping it as I wasnt sure I wanted the hassle of trying to return a rug and also because it was just so weird. It gets raves reviews from everyone who comes in so its earning its keep so far.
