I purchased this Teal Trellis Rug for my living room because it was the right size, color and price at the time I bought it. As of today, it's $200 more than the price I paid. Finding a turquoise/teal rug proved to be difficult in the 9 x 12 size I wanted for a reasonable price. I only had 3 options and this one filled my needs more than the others. It was big enough for me to place my furniture completely on and it didn't protrude into the hallway. It was the right color for my color scheme and the pattern wasn't overly busy because it is a repeat geometric. It's a tightly woven, low nap loop construction making it easier to vacuum especially with a cat in the house. When I removed it from the packaging and laid it down there was a very faint chemical smell that dissipated within the day. And the driving factor was the price! Although the teal is more of a deep turquoise (which is what I wanted) the ivory is much darker than depicted and it just looks dirty although it's not. Wish it were whiter but it's not a deal breaker and I can live with it. I've had this rug down less than a week and there is some denting where the furniture legs rest on the rug but that's to be expected with any rug. I haven't had any pilling or shedding yet and don't think I will. Once I laid down the rug and placed the furniture on it, the whole room changed - it was quite amazing how 1 item changed the atmosphere of the living room and now it looks like a warm inviting place to be! Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to others.

I actually bought this for my living room. I wanted something more durable than a typical indoor rug with a low pile. This rug fits the bill and for the money it cannot be beat. Friends were surprised at the look for the price. I bought the green. It is sort of a muted teal - simple and clean. Two aggravations: it takes a while to flatten. You should expect to leave books or furniture sitting on the corners & edges for a few weeks to get them to lay flat. Secondly there was a small snag in the weaving but my couch sits over it so it was not worth the aggravation of attempting to return/exchange.

I got this rug because we have two dogs and was sick of spending money on fancy rugs that they will inevitably find a way to ruin. The price is very reasonable for a rug of this size, which is obviously great. We've already tested its stain resistance and are very pleased with that aspect. I think the only issue I have with this is that it's exceptionally thin and not even close to comfortable to sit on—I would recommend buying a nice thick pad for underneath if using indoors. Also, because of how thin it is, it's very difficult to get the creases out from shipping. We've had it laid out on the floor for two weeks already and there are still a few lumps. Honestly though, if you're looking for a low maintenance/cost, pet friendly rug, I would definitely recommend this. The color is quite nice (true to the photo) and matches everything in our living room very well. We also use the runners in our kitchen in entry way—perfect for high traffic areas.

I used this as an indoor rung in my dining room. It was a great pop of color for the space. It was in a high traffic area, overlapping a walkway to a patio door. The rug held up very well, kept its color, and was easy to clean. I had it for 3 years and didn't have a space for it when I moved. If I had a need I would certainly buy this again. Note: this is a very thin rug, no padding.

Made my living room pop. It is indoor/outdoor but looks gorgeous indoors. The design is more beautiful in person. A traditional design with a very contemporary look.

I replaced a high-end wool runner with the Safavieh indoor/outdoor runner because I was tired of constantly cleaning the wool runner. The runner has heavy foot traffic. Upon opening the package I was a little surprised by the pattern, which seems very subtle in the photo, but is pretty bold. Now I am fine with it. I don't think the runner looks cheap at all. I purchased an under-pad to keep the Safavieh from sliding around my wood floor and to make it feel a bit more substantial.

This is a nice design that brings a contemporary flair to an older home without looking out of place. It's not thick, but it is soft and very inviting in a LR or BR.

The colors are exact and I love the bold red and geometric pattern. I was looking for a sturdy, stylish rug. I feel like it will hold up with my two young kids, but it looks great in my living room. It's not a cozy, soft rug, but it'll be in our living room, so that's not a priority for me.

We have several dogs, so we usually elect to purchase outdoor rugs for indoor use in all rooms. Much easier to keep dog hair from building up on these outdoor rugs. Also usually easier on the wallet when you're looking for a larger rug to cover a living area. With that said, some outdoor rugs look very much like an outdoor rug (typical patterns/styles - blah), and they're not suitable for indoor use if you care about the design of your room. This rug is my favorite outdoor rug I've purchased yet (over the years, we've been through plenty) for indoor use. The picture accurately shows what the rug looks like, colors shown in picture (on my monitor) were true to the color of the rug. The border and the 'dots' in the rug are a rich, chocolate brown with a bit of a velour-like fabric. The base rug (the tan part) has a nice texture/pattern that is very subtle, but gives it a more expensive look. The best part is the light green overlay that helps make the moroccan lattice pattern. It also has the velour-like texture as the chocolate fabric and is an overlay on the rug. It is tightly woven on, and I have had no issues with it snagging or pulling up, even with vacuuming. The rug is SO SOFT on your feet, but very durable. I always recommend taking the time with a new rug to spray Scotch Guard on it for extra stain protection. Outdoor rugs are easier to clean anyway in general. But I use the Scotch Guard for outdoor use (it's a slightly more expensive can than the general version). It is more water repellent and helps spills or accidents/stains lift right up. This rug has transformed the look of my room and compliments my grayish/green leather couch and taupe colors sitting chairs so well. I highly recommend this!
