  As other reviewers have said, this rug is brown and beige. It is not red and yellow, not in the least. There is some dark, desaturated brick red mixed in with the brown, but it is nowhere near as red as the picture. There is also no yellow at all, it is a light beige color. Accent colors are olive green and black. The rug is very, very thin- 8x10 was delivered in a roll about 4" in diameter. The rug is about 1/8" thick and will be very slippery on a hard floor. But the rug does seem to be of good quality construciton for the price. I purchased it with a nice thick rug pad which helps a lot. In all, I'm very satisfied with the purchase. I'm going to have to re-work the colors in the room since the colors are so off from the picture, but I like the rug just fine, and it's a good deal for the money, so I'm keeping it. The rug does give off a strong jute smell (like rope) for a few days, but that dissipates over time. I'd say this is a case where you get (slightly) more tha...

  I expected the rug to be much thinner than what it turned out to be. Have vacuumed it several times already but not getting much fiber off it. Have received positive comments from family and friends.

  I was nervous about buying a rug on line without seeing it but once it was in place in my living room, I couldn't be happier. It's beautiful and I've had compliments on it. I have a yellow lab and the hair does not show like the other rug I had. It vacuums up so easily too. The shipping was lightning fast. Thanks again Overstock.

  Nice leather pieces of "shag." Color is just like web photo ... a nice plum color. Just beware that the leather shag pieces are thick so you will not want to put a dining set on top since it will be tough to constantly move chairs in and out from table.
