This rug has the color as shown online. It works well in my home because I have dogs and it doesn't show the dog hair like my other carpet did. I am pleased with how well it lays flat and easy to vacuum and spot clean. I use without rug pad and it works for me. I like the blue color. Holds up to a lot of foot traffic. I am using indoor in family room.

I guess I should have realized that an indoor/outdoor rug wouldn't be the softest on the feet but we like the colors and design. It's a beautiful rug but the way it was shipped put creases in the rug that have yet to flatten out. It's been about 2 months and the creases don't seem to be getting any better.

I purchased this Teal Trellis Rug for my living room because it was the right size, color and price at the time I bought it. As of today, it's $200 more than the price I paid. Finding a turquoise/teal rug proved to be difficult in the 9 x 12 size I wanted for a reasonable price. I only had 3 options and this one filled my needs more than the others. It was big enough for me to place my furniture completely on and it didn't protrude into the hallway. It was the right color for my color scheme and the pattern wasn't overly busy because it is a repeat geometric. It's a tightly woven, low nap loop construction making it easier to vacuum especially with a cat in the house. When I removed it from the packaging and laid it down there was a very faint chemical smell that dissipated within the day. And the driving factor was the price! Although the teal is more of a deep turquoise (which is what I wanted) the ivory is much darker than depicted and it just looks dirty although it's not. Wish it were whiter but it's not a deal breaker and I can live with it. I've had this rug down less than a week and there is some denting where the furniture legs rest on the rug but that's to be expected with any rug. I haven't had any pilling or shedding yet and don't think I will. Once I laid down the rug and placed the furniture on it, the whole room changed - it was quite amazing how 1 item changed the atmosphere of the living room and now it looks like a warm inviting place to be! Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to others.

Not the easiest to clean if it is something messy--which is everything since I have 4 kids and one is a toddler that likes to throw food. But since it is indoor/outdoor, I figure I can drag it outside a few times a year and hose it down. The color is a very deep blue. Love it!

I use it indoor rather than outdoor. It is absolutely stunning.

We got a great deal on this beautiful living room rug. The little pops of blue and brown add interest. It's a nice middle between traditional and contemporary style. It lies down nicely.

I purchased this rug to go under our dining table, which is just in front of the back door and next to the kitchen - it gets walked on a lot and covered in leaves and soil from the (renovation in progress) backyard, courtesy of the dogs/cat. I'm very pleased with it. The pros are: - It has withstood heavy foot traffic, moving chairs and soil/garden debris. - Easy to vacuum/clean. - The cat hasn't damaged it with the occasional clawing, he's actually not that interested in it, which is great. - The blue is dark-ish but not too bright (which is what I wanted) and the beige is a smart colour choice as it hides any soil, whereas white would show it. The colours on my screen are accurate. - Love the geometric pattern. - For an indoor/outdoor rug it is still soft underfoot, though obviously not plush. Cons: - It had a few creases in it from shipping that, a couple of months later, still have not settled but they are slowly getting there. Would buy again/recommend to a friend.

Housekeeper wanted indoor/outdoor rug for dining room in rental house. The low pile is lots easier to vacuum and keep clean. If there's a big mess, we can just take it outside and hose it off. The design looks great with our decor (casual beachy). I may buy another one for our house.
While they can last for many years, wool area rugs need to be taken care of properly in order for you to protect your investment. Improper care can lead to excessive shedding, fading, and wear; these are not signs that the rug is defective, but indications that the rug has not been treated with care. With the proper cleaning products and a little time, you can keep your wool area rugs looking great. Cleaning Wool Rugs: Never use a vacuum with a beater bar. All wool rugs shed, but a beater bar will cause excessive shedding and abrasions to your rug. Read More
