I did read the reviews prior to purchasing so I guess it isn't fair to say I was "expecting" the rug to match the picture. I guess I was hoping. But the price was right for a 9x12 wool rug so I went for it. The rug has no gray or blue in it at all. It is green and brown. It sheds like crazy! I've been vacuuming it regularly and still fill the canister with wool fibres in minutes. The rug is thick but not soft. But I think that is too be expected with 100% wool. I would go with a wool blend next time.
Great Rug! Holds true to colors and its nice and comfortable to walk on. Easy to Vacuum just use so rug powder to remove the stubborn particles on it.
This is the area rug in my living room to protect the light hardwood floors in traffic areas. I love the vibrant colors and the durable quality of the rug. It's going to last a long time. And the blue in the rug matches my living room furniture very well. I've very happy.
I read through all the reviews, and though they did describe shedding, fewer mentioned it than not. So I went ahead and ordered. The rug is beautiful and much as it was pictured. I like it very much. But the shedding is amazing, and it is everywhere. If you have a kitty, she will walk away with it on her paws, and coat. It is terrible, and a deal breaker. PLEASE LISTEN. DON'T BE TEMPTED. TOO MUCH SHEDDING! I hope I've helped someone make the right decision.
This rug is wonderful. Love the colors and the feel underfoot is wonderful. So glad I got a matching rug for my dining room. I couldn't be happier or more pleased with my purchase.
