I've been making a changeover from plastic to more earth and health friendly glass, and when I went looking for an air-tight canister for my coffee, my choices seemed pretty limited by material or cost, or just plain ugly. Then I remembered Overstock.com and once here I found exactly what I wanted in the largest canister in this trio. It holds three pounds of bagged coffee easily, and as it's transparent I can see just what I have on hand. The other two jars are perfect for a variety of things from baking supplies to cookies to craft supplies. In spite of the red tops (a bonus for me since my kitchen accent color is red) they're unobtrusive on the counter. They also fit easily into standard cabinets. Shipping on these is lightning fast; I had my order in two days. I honestly can't think of a better value.

THE ENAMALED LIDS WERE SCRATCHED. THE LARGE JAR WAS OF POOR QUALITY AND WHEN FULL OF WATER (WHICH WAS MY PURPOSE) VERY DISTORTED.

very expensive for what it is, poor appearance, the metal covers were scratched.
