This rug has beautiful colors of tan, light brown, dark brown and taupe. It goes well with any neutral decor and brings wonderful texture to any room. The only thing I have noticed is that a few leather strands have come loose. Overall it looks like it was put together well and most importantly, looks great!

Bought this rug because it's unusual and was not disappointed. It's a dark chocolate brown mix and would look good on a light colored wood floor. I've gotten a lot of ' good ' compliments on it. 100% Satisfied.

This filled a little decorating niche in our home, but up close, it looks much more matted or flat than in the picture. Also it's smaller than indicated--closer to 68 or 69 inches than to 6 foot. It goes well with modern, wenge or dark walnut stain, or with black, brown, and other warm, neutral colors.

I have never owned a leather rug and LOVE IT!. It is not really made to walk on much, but very, very rich looking. I recommend this rug very much.

This is a really cool and unusual rug. I'm so glad I came across it because a rectangular rug would have looked awkward in my small living room. 4x6 too small and 5x8 too big. The round shape is perfect and the texture is really different than anything I've seen. It just arrived today so I can't comment on cleaning but I won't try to vacuum it. Definitely a take outside and shake product. It unrolled nice and flat and needed a little "hand fluffing" to perk up the middle where it was a bit matted down. It smells great, like being in a leather products store. My dog took a nap on it within 5 minutes of opening it so I gave it a try. I didn't want to get up! The texture feels great on bare feet and compliments my funky 1940's bungalow very well. Definitely pair it with neutral furniture..beiges, browns, greens and wooden type stuff.

I bought this about a year ago. Although it looks nice at first, it does lose its slick contemporary appearance over time. The leather loops are now flat and hard to bring back to life. If I had to choose again, I would have chosen another rug. Looks good for about 3-4 months, then difficult at best to keep the appearance.

So super cute. Once in awhile one strand will come out... no big deal just throw it out. Great brown leather color. Get a ton of compliments on it. Kinda hard to shake out due to it's size but definitely can't vacuum it! Totally worth it. LOVE IT!!!

Friends consider it kind of weird when I tell them I ordered a leather rug. However it is very unique and looks good, especially in a "rustic" type room. I ended up returning this (ONLY because I decided I needed an 8' rug instead). The return process was simple and easy. However, the rug looked great and a nice change from a standard or oriental rug. A great recommendation if you want something "different". Thank you overstock.com!

Rug looks great, especially against Brazilian Cherry floors. Order process was smooth. Product arrived within one week with good communication throughout. Consistant with other reviews, the rug has shed some pieces of leather but certainly nothing to warrant concern. Excellent buy!!

I wanted unique and fun, and that's what I got! It is a real conversation starter. All our family and friends like it, even the dog! Within minutes of laying it out, she was all over it! Now she thinks it's her new bed so we have to shake out the cookie crumbs once in a while. It's pretty easy care. There's been a bit of shedding but it hasn't changed the appearance any. Many of the other reviews helped me make my choice.

This rug was just what our home needed to tie in the various wood tones (from mahogany to bamboo) in our home. The rug immediately gets attention and compliments when we have guests but it does shed during normal wear. Despite the shedding the rug is very durable and heavy, doesn't slide around at all... Had to give it 4 stars for workmanship due to the shedding issue, otherwise its a 5 star all around!

This rug is so unique and I like it overall so much! It smells so good since it is leather. However, it sheds small parts regularly. I am not sure why but that is a bit frustrating. The colors are very nice and easy to design with because there is so much color variety. The style is great because it fits with a contemporary look quite well. I would recommend this rug in a minute. It feels great to walk on because it has a nice texture. It is in the kitchen under a small round table and our family of four (two parents and two young boys) eat some meals there and if we drop a crumb here or there, nothing shows! I love this rug.

This is such a cool rug. Colors are fabulous. Not super comfortable to stand on barefoot, but it is in my office over hardwood and I do not need to stand on it. It is down for color and texture. It does both of those things. A few pieces have come out, but no big deal. You can not tell. If you want a rug with personality, this is it!

What a great find, the rug is gorgeous and it came faster that I thought. I've seen these types of rugs but they were alot higher priced this one looks just like the higher priced ones.

My husband and I decided to go for it and are both pleased with the rug. We have it on hardwood floors and in front of leather furniture. Gives the room a cozy feel. The odor some reviewers mentioned was barely noticeable with our rug. Very little shedding so far.

I loved the look of this leather rug and wanted to buy a couple of them since overstock has them in 8x11 feet and 8 foot round too .Decided to buy the smaller size round after reading all the reviews before buying the larger ones. Its placed in our entryway and looks awesome .Some pieces of leather do fall once in a while but theres so much of leather its gonna take ages to make a difference in appearance .I think it must be natural that they fall once in a while .Im reallly pleased i took the chance. Im ordering the 8x11 and the 8 foot round too .

The leather strips in this rug are huge! Some are several inches long and an inch or so wide; also, not symetrically shaped. They literally look like scrap leather. Several pieces have already come off the rug, and we've only had it on the floor for less than one month. It is very unusual looking and adds a nice textured look to the room, on top of a wood floor and next to solid leather furniture. I will not use a vacuum cleaner on it for fear of pulling off all the leather strips; instead, we will have to take it outside and shake it.
