I chose this rug to go in our breakfast nook. It came when promised, and the color and texture were as advertised. The backing is great as it doesn't move when we move the chairs in and out from under the table. The only drawback is - the fabirc border is a magnet for pet hairs. But that is easily remedied. I would purchase another of these in a different size if the need arose.

I bought this rug for an ongoing renovation project so I haven't actually put the rug down; but, upon receipt of the rug I did inspect it. I loved the border color (it was exactly as presented) and the workmanship appears to be very good. So, from what I have seen so far, I am very pleased with my purchase and looking forward to putting it to good use.

I've been wanting a sisal rug for a couple of years, and when I started shopping at Overstock.com and found this, I just had to have it. This rug fits in perfectly in our small dinning room and is everything I've expected of a nicely-made sisal rug, except that the cats don't scratch it, which is a nice surprise.

This rug gave my room a natural clean look. It does a slight smell when you first get it, but it goes away after a good vaccuming! It really bring the outside in and gives any room you put it in a since of calm.

I bought this rug for my sons room - I was very glad I had read other reviews and took the advice about getting the black border. I can see how a lighter color would get dirty with lots of traffic. Also agree that the texture is much softer than I would have thought - fine for bare knees and bare feet! I think the rug is a solid value - it arrived just as promised.

I love my new area rug. I wanted a spring/summer rug for my family room and this rug is perfect.I also wanted a rug with some yellow to accent my family room colors. The yellow trim in neither too dark or too light , but just right.

I purchased the beige border on this rug and was pleasantly surprised to find it softer than expected underfoot. Sisal/Jute doesn't hurt your feet at all and I love that. As much as I like the rug I have to say that over time I am experiencing some pulls and nubbing on the border. I trim it with scissors at least once a week. The beige shows every tiny bit of dirt or dust so choose black if this is also an issue for you. Also, a rug pad is absolutely necessary. I didn't have one for a week after I purchased it since it comes with a pretty sturdy rubber backing. However, it never stayed in place and laid flat until I got the rug pad. At under $100 you can't really go wrong so I do feel satisfied with this purchase.

I ordered two of theses rugs for the family room and the breakfast room. We've had them awhile and they look great. Very pleased and I've already told friends to check out your rugs.

The rug is great for the price, however, don't do what I did and turn the wrong side up. I vacumed the wrong side and it started to tear at the edge close to the red border. When I vacumed the the right side it held up well. It is at my foyer and it looks great. Good buy.

It's what I expected. They arrived in 2 days, Well made and I'm very satisfied with products. Hoping to order another rug for the same amount ( amazing rug for the cost !) and have it delivered right to your door, too.

This rug is gorgeous, looks identical to other much higher priced rugs. Unlike some of the other reviewers, the smell does not bother me one bit. It is a natural smell and I liked it. It was by no means strong or overpowering. It reminded me of my much earlier years when I was making macrame hangers.This rug is not sisal, it is jute. I know that is mentioned somewhere in some of the other reviews. It is however, really pretty. I just unpacked it and it is lying pretty straight already, it does have just a few minor wrinkles, but I know these will flatten out.Many congratulations to Overstock. I don't know how they manage their high level of customer service and shipping times but it really is unbelievable. It seems like I just ordered it and here it was a few minutes ago being delivered to my front door. Many thanks. I sure wish I had bought stock in this company early on.I will be ordering another identical rug for my front room.

This rug is great. I got the green, the color was right on, and it rolled out flat right from the start. It was delivered very quickly. If you are looking for a durable, very nice and well made rug, buy it!

We purchased this rug for our office/art studio. Love it! Unrolled perfectly. NO SMELL! Not as scratchy on bare feet as we thought it was going to be. Great product for the money.

Just replacing an old one, but appears to have at least the same quality if not better for a much better price.

This rug is softer than expected, and the border is very nice. It is a very casual look. I live at the shore so that is not a problem, but if you want something more refined this would probably not do it for you. So far the dogs haven't been able to damage it, and the cat has not yet used it as a scratching mat. I am quite satisfied with it, and although it may not be "spectacular" it is very functional at this price.

ug itelf is great. My only cmplaint is that its been down fo almost a month and is still not laying flat. The "wrinkles" from being rolled are still evident.

I HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS PRODUCT. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE WAS THE WAY IT WAS FOLDED AND I AM HAVING TO STRAIGTHEN OUT THE RUG, BUT APART FROM THAT IT'S LUVERLY.

LOVE THIS RUG!!!! CAN'T SAY ENOUGH!!! The color is RICH I mean BEAUTIFUL!!! Every spill (and I have a 9 year old son with A.D.H.D., so we have A LOT of spills) clean up with just a wet rag and no evidence of any spill ever having taken place, INCLUDING the Elmers glue!! I went on another site of a VERY WELL KNOWN chain store and found the identical rug, same color and SAME SIZE for OVER TWICE THE PRICE!!!! SO YET AGAIN... 'THE O' HAS MADE A BELIEVER OUT OF ME!!!
