This area rug looks great on our espresso stained concrete floors. We wanted something organic and contemporary and we definitely got it. The rug is high quality, and I like the different textures of the dark versus the light wool; it adds to the organic nature. Everyone who sees this loves it. It's placed front and center in our entryway.

I love the look of this rug, the organic feel of the main rug. The detail is a chocolate brown that is raised and fuzzy. My only problem with that is that my white dog's hair sticks to the brown fuzz, however, it vacuums off very easily. The only problem we have had is that the corners are not staying down well, but this has improved over time. For the price, this is a very stylish rug and I am pleased with it.

Before I began redecorating my bedroom, I knew that I wanted a zebra striped area rug and Overstock.com provided me with a great looking, fabulously made one. It really pops in the room and made a fun organic addition. I really liked the fact that the shipping was only $2.95 and it was even delivered on a Saturday!!!! I was ecstatic! Thanks a lot Overstock!

I was disappointed that this rug did not live up to its online presence. The yarn was "shiny," and definitely had the appearance of a nylon (non-organic) yarn. In addition, the rug itself did not feel substantial underfoot. After less than 24-hours on the floor, viewing it in day and night time light, I've rolled it up and shipped it back.

I love the subtle coloration used in this rug. It adds a lovely organic touch to my family room. I had concerns when I ordered it that it may be stiff or not lay well, but that hasn't been the case at all. I use it in the middle of my furniture grouping and it looks great. It's light enough that I can take it outside and shake it out. You can't beat it for the price.

This carpet is perfect. It looks very organic/modern. It was the perfect accent to my boyfriend's masculine furniture... It ties in everything nicely. When i first got this it did shed a lot. I have had wine spilled on it and it was easy to spot treat. the stain came right out. The rug its'ef was not 5'x8' it is more like 11'x7'.

Was looking for rug that was full of great red, orange and eggplant. Something a little moroccan inspired but organic. This rug has great colors in it, but the leather as would be expected is less than comfortable under your feet. I would recommend it with the understanding that it is more about getting the colors in to your room, rather than a comfortable feel for under foot.

Looks exactly as I'd hoped. Colors are pretty true to monitor photo, deep red and chocolate brown. I actually find that it's shedding less than other wool rugs I've owned. Brings a very organic, modern quality to my living room.

The color is really an orange rust-tomato red at best- with black inter-stitching every one and a half inches which is a nice touch... It is a bright yet organic color and though it was not at all the color as depicted on the website, I kept it because it is nicely woven and well made. The color is not even as it is hand made and I noticed some color fading or color unevenness right out of the bag, but more so after 6 months. Even so, I really like it, it has an organic handmade quality to it and it is nice and thick, the quality is good. Wish they had a "red" one though. It tends to collect animal hair and have to vacuum it more regularly. Good quality, worth the money if the color works for you....earthy tomato red-orange. I wish the website color depictions were more accurate because I would consider ordering more of this style of rug if I knew the colors would work! Definitively worth the money. I would have given the quality 5 stars if it weren't for the color unevenness. It is a nice quality handwoven rug and it goes really well with the natural elements in my living room.

I am so happy that I bought this rug! It fits perfectly in my living room, and the cats love it too. Originally, I got it because I live in an old building and I wanted to preserve the natural wood flooring, but it also serves as a non-slippery surface for the cats to play on. It is very durable. And unlike other jute rugs it does not fray or buckle when you vacuum it. I was pleased that the color was very natural and organic compared to the peach-toned photo on the website. It has speckles of brown, which helps hide dirt and stains. As always, overstock delivered it very quickly! Thank you Overstock!

Lays flat (as opposed to staying curled up at ends as "cheaper" rugs tend to) as another reviewer stated, they are substantial and do not slide around at all on our wood floors. We love the "diamond" design (which is exactly as pictured, as is the color). I purchased the 8 x 10 size as well. I cannot believe the price. Top-quality, reversible (exactly the same on both sides), much more so than any more expensive jute rug I've found! It's a keeper. Ordering more--love that they are so easy to keep clean (no allergies) and add organic texture and interest we're going for! A++!

I love this rug, the quality of materials seems good, it's beautiful, but its hand tufted, the finishing work is only as good as the finisher. I hope what I received in shipment today was an anomaly, but the rug appears to have been tufted (trimmed and sculpted) by someone that doesn't have the skill level for this particular design. The striping in the rug just isn't organic with soft edges, but rather jagged, rough, and hard edges that are not round but square, they immediately draw the eyes attention and take away from what could have been a beautiful rug. Unfortunately this rug looks like a $5 haircut with a dull pair of shears. This could have been fixed, had it been inspected properly for quality of finish work. I'm just hoping this particular rug was for training purposes which accidentally got mixed in with those rugs tufted by more experienced crafters.

I do love it. It is a wonderful quality rug. However, if you do not read up on stain removal for this type of rug you will indeed have a permanent wet looking stain. I am sorry to report that I do have one. However, after the first mistake I cleaned the second spill by having a box of baking soda handy. First I tried to absorb as much moisture as possible, then dumped the baking soda on the area and then vacuumed after a day or two. That worked out well. That's the way life goes with grandchildren and pets. Yes, when I pick it up occasionally to clean there is fine dust and dirt but I think that is the nature of organic look and feel in decorating. No big deal to me.

I tried to order this rug twice from overstock.com and both times I was sent the wrong rug. After my last call with customer service, it was suggested to me to abandon ship because the carpet must be labeled wrong in the warehouse and there is nothing that can be done to make sure I receive the right one. This is ludicrous! I am also irritated because the second carpet was sent to the wrong address (I'm in the process of moving) even after I called customer service to update my address in order to make sure the second carpet was sent to proper address. It will be a major challenge for me to organize sending back the second wrong rug - not that overstock cares! So overall, I would be careful ordering this rug because you may not ever receive it and you will undoubtedly be disappointed and irritated with the overstock's lack of ability to remedy the situation careless attitude toward their customers' needs.

Definitely a black/cream color (not white). The rug is thin and not 1/2 inch as per description. Also, it is NOT Made in USA. It is Made in Egypt. I know what poor, medium and good quality rugs look like. This is definitely less than medium quality, almost qualify as poor because it is thin. It is similar to those very small thin rugs. Be careful, it has a strong VOC (volatile organic compound) smell so you need to air it our for a few days. If you are sensitive to environmental exposures, forget about this rug. I have been contemplating about returning this rug. It's just not worth the hassle due to its size and the logistics of shipping it back. Is it worth the $**+ sale price it's advertised? Heck, no. It is worth $30-40? Perhaps - that is, if you can stand the smell and the thinness factors. I just chalk this up to experience.

As with previous reviewers, I would have preferred if there were no visible 'gaps' between some of the balls that make up the rug, but I was aware that they would be present thanks to earlier reviews, and don't find them terribly bothersome. The pattern is very striking and modern while still looking somewhat natural and organic, a hard combo to find. Also I love the color scheme running from blacks and greys to creams and tans-- a hard color palette to find together. I use this in a bathroom and it performs well with the water (wool is on sheep in the rain, after all!) and the balls feel great on bare feet. As with all wool rugs, it sheds at the beginning, but this diminishes with time. I find it to be a very beautiful and versatile rug and I am pleased with it, especially for the price.
Despite the name, bookshelves are about more than just shelving books. Bookshelves make versatile solutions as free-standing dry food pantries, open dressers or displays dedicated to your knick-knacks and tchochkes. They quickly convert into china cabinets, media organizers or shoe storage. Whatever the case, the right bookcase goes miles toward making your home into the haven it should be.
