I am very pleased with this purchase. I ordered it for my office, which has only grey flooring tiles. It looks great and is easy to keep clean. I bought a small vacuum just for this. It pulls the room together visually and keeps noise down. The colors are wonderful and blend well with the golds and honey oak and greys and dark blues of my large painting. Great price. Exceptionally good product.

I would have prefer the brown one. This is a little dull for the room I pick because of the dark paint. This might be better in a well lit area and a green or blue room for it to pop. But there's nothing wrong with it. If you want subtle then this is a good choice,

The color is very poorly represented on the web-page. It is not a light blue-gray as shown, it is a medium to dark gray and has moss green tones, not blue. It does not go well with my walls, which are light gray-blue. However, the quality and price make it worth keeping. I am replacing an oriental rug that was made in China and of course, fell apart.

We bought this rug to go in my sons bedroom but I opened it in the entry where it was an improvement over the green oriental there. The blue is definitely illusional or flexible. It worked well in my sons slate painted room looking more gray. It also works in my entry against the sage green wall looking almost blue green. I highly recommend this rug especially if you have a rustic or craftsman style home. We are keeping it! One won't think it is handmade, nor that it is expensive. It fits in nicely, thin enough for the door to open and not rub.

Rug is a contemporary rug with a faded air of old oriental rugs. Very pretty and understated. Looks great against my hardwood floor. Not very thick so if you want thick this is not for you. I also bought a smaller one n teal for a bedroom

Beautiful rug. Really warms up the room. Works well in my space with cooler grey walls.

The color description says gray but my husband and I both say it has a green tone not gray at all. So be careful if you are wanting a true gray color. That being said it is perfect in our living room on hardwood floors. Colors in this area rug are muted green, olive green (outlining) rust (not red), gold and beige. It goes with all the other colors in the room. Typical of wool rugs and a lot of shedding when being vacuumed. Very happy with this rug. I was so apprehensive about ordering a rug from a picture. Ordered several more in different patterns. Quality is excellent.

5 stars for the return shipping process is awesome & quick. BEWARE, the rug looks way cooler and sleeker in the photo. in person, the rug pile is like a thick carpet and not a short brushed pile like an oriental/ turkish rug.. it does feel good on the feet, but the look of the rug would be perfect for a dorm room. there is no silver or shininess to the rug. i just didn't feel the rug was sophisticated and chic.

I have other Polypropylene rugs at home, and this one is just low-end. The rug seems much thinner (pile-wise) than I expected. The faded/over-dyed oriental style was what I was looking for - so it has the right look, but the quality is below average. Though I will say, the fading is much more forced than natural looking - its very grainy and pixelated. We use this rug in our office, with a rolling office chair on top - and the rug is constantly pilling where the chair rolls. It's a nice looking rug, but its not practical for heavy use.

We love this rug! My husband wanted an oriental rug but I felt they all looked too stuffy. This rug was a perfect compromise. It has an actual design rather than a repeating pattern. It was shipped rolled up, but it unrolled right away. It's nice to look at and it feels thick and soft under the feet when walking, rather than thin or hard like cheaply-made rugs. There has not been much shedding onto the wood floors around the rug. It's heavy enough to not require a no-slip mat underneath, which is great.

The rug arrived very quickly and we were thrilled with the quality and color. We have a couch that has a lot of gray in it and this rug matched perfectly. The rug has an open soft pattern that compliments the large scale of the couch and the soft rusts and beiges are beautiful.

I love the rug, although the color is not as depicted. On my laptop, it appeared to be a charcoal gray, but it was more of a light gray, bordering on blue. For my purposes, it even worked better, but beware if you are expecting a darker tone. The rug does shed as expected, but no more than any other wool rug I've had. Delivery was quick and, as usual, the rug was an excellent value - much prettier and more tightly woven than rugs I've seen at 4 times the price.

I think there were a few 4 star ratings for this rug in larger sizes. They must have sold out because they are no longer on the site. I really wanted to love this rug. I got it for my kids room as something to transition as my son got older. I think it will serve that purpose very well. I was expecting bolder colors. The lighter stripes really aren't white, more like a grey or dirty beige. The entire rug has a grey undertone, which gives it a more mature look. There is a review for a different size complaining of the shedding. This really does have a ton of shedding. I've vacuumed 4 times over 3 weeks. In that time, I have emptied a vacuum bag, and I was surprised to see how much lint was in there. I don't really mind the shedding. We don't have allergies, and my kids don't notice either. While I don't *mind*, it does speak of the quality. I also notice the wool still have a lot of guard hairs in it. You'll see a bunch of wiry, lighter colored hairs in the pile. This means the manufacturer was sloppy or impatient to comb out the wool before spinning into the yarn for the rug. That said, the price is very low for a wool rug! I grew up with very high quality oriental rugs in the thousands of dollars. Obviously, there is no comparison. So I think the shedding and guard hairs comes w/not wanting to spend a ton. You get what you pay for. I probably would have given the rug a 4 except the color was inaccurate. Despite all the above, my kids love the rug. My son picked out the rug and he doesn't seem to care about the color inaccuracy (he is 5). Both kids think the rug is very soft and they like to lay down on it. My son commented on the fuzz, but he doesn't care because he doesn't know better! For all he knows, rugs shed. So, we are satisfied and will keep the rug.

This rug is exactly what I wanted. The colors are true to the picture: red is dominant, navy blue border. It complements my living room decor/colors (grey, red, white, black-brown) very well. It's not too thick but still perfectly plush. My only gripe is that it has been several days and the creases from the tightness of the roll have not smoothed out. Hopefully it'll smooth out soon or I'll have to steam it.

It's hard to find a 5x7 let alone one with the exact colors I was looking for. I have allot of teal in the room and this rug pulls everything together. It's one of those greys that seems to change color with what you put it with...if you put it near blue, it would likely go blue but mine went teal with my stuff (thank goodness). Anyway, I just love it! It gives a sense of luxury to the room. Thanks overstock!

This is by no means a fine Oriental rug but is an excellent area rug: visually attractive and durable. It's a very short plush pile (not unlike carpeting) but has a very tightly woven, sturdy back with strong binding so there is no worry about color leaching through to the floor below, as has happened to me before. Overstock is correct this rug would cost several hundred dollars at a retail/department store. There are some "specks" where a single strand of wool is strategically longer to give it a very slightly irregular and realistic appearance (think raw silk, etc.) Colors are similar to what appeared on my computer monitor: background is primarily grayish-tan and red has more of an orange than burgundy cast. If you plan to place small furniture on this rug (i.e. side table) consider how you will balance out leg(s) not on rug as it is thick. Appears to have potential to wear well under heavy traffic. Prompt shipping, only takes a few days to relax from being so tightly rolled up during transit. Very happy to have this in home office. One nitpick: as an artist, I would bump up the intensity of the greens for greater contrast against the background, but it still shows beautifully from a distance.

This rug is absolutely beautiful and well-made with thick, soft fibers. The rug has an overall background color of grey-blue (light to medium) with complimentary colors of chocolate brown, rust (not as prominent as pictured), dark mushroom, and beige making it very neutral. The pattern is unique and classy. What is even better is that this rug was several hundred $$ cheaper than another upscale store had advertised for the same rug ***! Although I had a little gliche with delivery at first (I was initially sent a much smaller version of this rug), O's customer service was very accomidating and resolved the issue quickly. Thanks for another great buy overstock!

First let me say that I ordered and received this rug all in the same week . . . you can't beat that for service. The rug is absolutely beautiful. Like most people I was hesitant when purchasing an area rug without seeing it but felt the great price was worth the gamble. I was pleasantly surprised when I unrolled the rug. The colors are beautiful. I am building and decorating a new house and living in fear everyday that the color choices I make for walls, furniture, etc. will clash. I put all four of my paint chips down on this rug and the rug looked gorgeous with each one, from grey-ish brown to putty, cream, and sage- it could go in any room in my house!! It also looks beautiful with my gold color couch. I am actually putting it in my keeping room that is open to the kitchen, which is more or less like a TV and conversation room that needs to be kid friendly . . . I didn't know you could get durable polypropylene rugs that looked this great!!

Gorgeous area carpet. It looks very high end, however after two weeks of mild use large chunks of pile are shedding from the carpet. I will have to return:(

This is a really wonderful, thick rug! We were pleasantly surprised at the quality. It feels really nice on the feel and looks beautiful in our entry way. It sheds a lot at the beginning, and lint/fabric gathers around the corners, but eventually subsides. Love the reds in the border; it really brightens it up. Love having a nice thick, rich rug for a fraction of the price that we're used to paying.
