I bought the rug for a bathroom looking for a thick rug - and this is a very thick rug! Be prepared to trim the bottom of your doors to allow extra clearance. I found the colors accurate to website pictures.

great rug-love it! It does shed some-at least initially. It is very thick. If you have low clearance furniture, you may have an issue. I have a electric reclining couch and I had to pull the rug out about 5" instead of "tucking" it under the front of the couch-just too thick! Looks wonderful and is very soft-not scratchy at all.

Nice rug. Very thick (watch for door clearance). Colors are more muted than they appear online. Design contrast is also less intense. Picture appears red (vermillion), yellow and green. Actual colors are rust, gold, and sage. When ordering from Overstock I like to order something a shade or two brighter than what I want, knowing it will be a shade or two duller than what I had in mind.

I had been doing research on various sites and in stores for several months, looking for a rug for a landing to match some stair runners I recently had installed. The runners are beige, with dark red, olive and gold accents. This rug was perfect! Its colors are a little less muted than those in my runners, but the tones are a perfect match. I couldn't be happier. I was nervous about buying a rug online, because I tried once through another site, and got something completely the wrong color. I was encouraged by other reviews on this site for other rugs, which were glowing, and seemed to suggest that Overstock somehow offered better deals than others on rugs made by the same manufacturer. As I was browsing for rugs to match my runners, I ran across a rug I'd purchased for my living room about 5 years ago from Pottery Barn. Even though I had purchased the rug on clearance, the Overstock price was still less than half of what i had paid. This confirmed for me that good-quality rugs are sold on this stie for great prices. I'll suggest Overstock to all my friends and family for future rug purchases!

Love this rug! Modern looking, but simple enough to go with vintage style. We purchased the navy/cream for our baby's nursery and we just love how it looks. The rug is nice and thick. We didn't even put a rug pad under it, because with some furniture on the edges, this rug isn't going to move! It's heavy and about a half-inch thick (check your door clearance! :). As others have said, the "cream" or trellis design portion of the rug is "raised" or a bit longer than the navy part of the rug. Not a big deal to us, but an fyi if you want a totally flat/uniform rug. It's not a major difference, but noticeable. All new rugs shed a bit, but I will say that with our rug the white bits are sticking to the navy areas and after a few vacuums it's still hard to get the navy areas totally clear of tiny white stray "hairs", but hopefully with more vacuuming that will go away. I'm not a perfectionist so this doesn't really bother me, but just an fyi on the more "dramatically" colored versions of this rug (i.e. the navy and cream), the two colors may stray into each other for awhile. Overall, though, we are happy with our purchase and continue to love buying rugs from overstock! Our drafty old house (and chilly feet) are happy with this purchase!
