Recent Customer Reviews in 5x8 - 6x9 Rugs

  • May 17, 2013

This is a lovely, nice quality product, that will be going back because of a failure to mention a dominant color of the rug in the description. I hope to have Overstock cover the return cost, as I NEVER would have ordered this if I knew the color pink was dominant. UGH - such a disappointment.

    • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? NOT EVEN CLOSE - I am SO disappointed
    • Please tell us about the quality of the product. The rug seems like great quality. It has a soft hand, tight fibers, and a nice thickness.
    • How accurate was the on site description of the product? COMPLETELY INACCURATE...failure to mention the color PINK, which is dominant in the rug and is mentioned nowhere in the description, reviews, and didn't show on three different monitors that I used to look at the product.

This rug looks nothing like the picture. The actual rug is a light tan color for the background, with line/stripes of gray and brown. There was no red, no green, and the quality was not great.

    • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Not at all the same color
    • Please tell us about the quality of the product. relatively rough, and thin.
    • How accurate was the on site description of the product? Not accurate

  • Neutral peacock plumes

Peacock motifs are often flamboyant. This color combination provides the graceful look of a peacock plume in neutral colors. Background is tan, the innermost "eye" of the plume is a dark, almost black, blue. The other feather features are in shades of brown. Goes well with brown leather sofa and wooden furniture while allowing pops of color in accent pieces.

This rug is decent and appears to be durable, but I was hoping for something a little better quality. The colors are super, and exactly what I had hoped for. However, when I unrolled it next to the wool rug I was replacing, I realized that I like the quality look of the wool a lot better. I decided to return it and the return process was very smooth. So, in general my experience with overstock went very well.

Only negative that after a year still sheds when vacuuming and walk on. It is a beautiful rug with thick pile and vibrant colors.
