  I do love this rug! It feels fantastic on the feet and the color is beautiful. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it sheds. I believe that is the nature of felted wool, so please expect it. The only other problem is that you must be careful not to spill anything on it as this rug will be tough to clean. The instructions say that you cannot use a strong vacuum on it due to the high shedding nature and that the best way to clean it is with a light broom. Not a big deal really, but in regards to stains, if you have kids, keep the juice away!! (or wine for adults :).

  • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The color is a little deeper blue than what is show on the photo. I think one of the smaller photos has the correct color..

  I read the posted reviews, and was prepared for the odor and shedding. I kept the rug in the garage for a day, the odor from the dyes in the wool was very pronounced, and I ran the vacuum over the rug about five times before placing it in the room -- thank you for those helpful tips-- When I put this rug in with my new leather furniture it just made the room pop! There is still some slight shedding, but the beauty far exceeds that little nusance

  It had good color but not very thick rug and the red was everywhere for week now still shedding

  I bought this to go on top of wall to wall in my dining area and to match -- now don't laugh -- the chair pads -- and I absolutely, positively love it! It makes the dining area look like a separate room -- matches everything perfectly and I love walking on it with bare feet cause it feels so GOOD!! I must say this is one of the best finds I have made in a long time.
