  I had been looking for a 5'x7' orange shag rug for months, I was ecstatic when I found this rug. I was concerned about color and feel, however as soon as I unwrapped it, all my worries were put to rest. The color is a bright, rich orange. Not a highlighter safety orange or a darker burnt orange color. I would say it is spot on with the crayon orange. The feel of the rug is soft, but I can tell it is also durable. I have it in my TV room, where I spend most my time with my pets and my friends with their pets. After several weeks, it's holding up great. When I first received the rug, it did have a plastic/chemical smell but that dispersed quickly (about a week). Overall I am beyond thrilled with this purchase.

  • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The color is a bright, rich orange. On the site it looks a shade or two darker than the actual product.
  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Overall quality is excellent. I have had it for several weeks and have noticed zero shedding or other issues, even with two (occasionally) three dogs running around on the rug.
  • How accurate was the on site description of the product? Product was exactly as described.

  Really, really nice rug. Looks fabulous on our dark wood floors! It has a chemical odor that dissipates a couple of days after opening the package , and then it's odor free. You could never vacuum it and would need at least 2 strong people to shake it out because it's so heavy. It feels great under my feet and I will purchase another in an instant!

  This carpet arrived very quickly. We laid it out and put a few books on the corners. It didn't take long to straighten out. Love the color. We have this color as an accent in pillows on a white and yellow stripe sofa. The rug really pops! I highly recommend it.
