This is my first Overstock purchase, and I couldn't have been more pleased! Very true to photo...maybe 1 shade lighter in photograph than in person, but that's to be expected with lighting, flash, etc. As in the photo, I was looking for a rug to go on dark floors to lighten up my living space and this rug did just that. Living room looks twice as big. The pile height is low but the rug is still soft and cozy enough for my toddler to be comfortable playing on it. The distressed look turned out really well. Less formal than standard Oriental look. I am very happy with this rug!

I bought this because I needed something neutral yet stylish for an area under a work table. Other rugs in the area are smaller oriental scatter rugs of a dark red hue. This blended perfectly and added a good contrast. Thin, but works well with a pad under it and feels good to the feet.

I was on the fence about sending this carpet back, but decided on the path of least resistance and kept it. I still can't decide if I like it. But it's here doing its job in my living room. It's a good solution for not showing dirt - my husband has RLS and is always rubbing his shoes back and forth on the carpet in front of his chair. That is why I ordered it (plus it's kind of nice with my deep cobalt blue chairs) but it doesn't feel like it will hold up under much wear and tear. It is VERY blue. VERY. There is no other color to give it a feeling of richness and contrast, and it's true what others have said about it - it looks like a pixilated photo of an oriental carpet. I keep looking at it and wondering about it. It is kind of dramatic, but do I actually like it???...

I did a lot of looking and took my time thinking about which rug to purchase. I found the reviews my best sorce of information. I bought this rug in a runner and a 6x9 rectangular. The runner came first and then the 6x9. The 6x9 was slightly lighter in color, has the teawashed effect) than the runner but both rugs are quite beautiful in their way. I think that these variations are attributable to the different lots of yarns and dyes. I love oriental rugs so these variations do not bother me at all. I have a green leather chair and rust colored sofa and the rugs worked well with both these colors. I am very happy with the quality. Minimal shedding so far. I recommend this beautiful rug.

This rug is a lovely color, well finished edges, and bleached out pattern like an antique oriental! It looks great in my dining room. It is an excellent value for the price, since I am unwilling to spend full price for an oriental rug. Great rug!!

After trying another 5X8 rug with a trellis pattern from Overstock it continually produced shed so I exchanged it for this lower pile rug and couldn't be happier. If you could feel how soft this is and it vacuums beautifully. So much happier with this rug. My boys lie on this rug. You can't beat the price and I love the sheen off the rug. It gives it a dressed up look for your room.

This is a very beautiful and super thick rug. I would have given it 5 stars but it really isn't red. More of a rust color. Still looks great in my sun room. Colors are a little muted which gives it an antique look and design is different from the usual oriental style rugs. I do love it.

This rug is a nice addition to my home office. Good quality, relatively thin, the print/pattern is just like the photo... an oriental look with some wear for the vintage feel. The only negative is that the color is definitely not like the picture shown. It is hard to explain, but in the sunlight it as more of a silver look, and then when you walk around to the other side of the rug and look at it, it reflects more of a dark blueish gray color. The gray definitely has a blue hue. So if you are okay with that, you will like this rug. If you want a true gray, I would check out something else.

This rug is thick and soft, slightly larger than 5 x 8 ( not a problem, just note if your spacing is tight) and the colors are pretty true to the website/computer screen. It looks much more expensive than the price paid, and makes a beautiful addition to our family room. The bricky/peachy colors enhance our brick fireplace, and adjacent terra cotta tile kitchen floor, and the greens make a nice contrast. One caveat: the pattern is more Pottery Barn than Oriental style, which is fine but noteworthy. A great buy! I'll be back:-)
