First composter
I did a lot of research on a great composter to buy. I thought that a ground-connected composter was best, as opposed to one hanging in the air. There are some great YouTube vids which featured this and others and compared them all. As far as tumblers went, this was supposedly the best due to the stabilizer bar in the center, which I liked, for breaking up the material. The only downside is that the airholes aren't as big or multiple as could be, but I can simply take the lid off and leave it as such for a while, so that's not really a problem. Rotating does take two hands, as it shows in the instructions. I scoffed at it when I set up the product, but when this thing gets full, you really can't swing it around like when it's empty. My first batch is inside as I write this and I occasionally add to it and check on it and rotate it to help it along. Anxiously awaiting to see how it goes.

In Composting Heaven
This is my first experience with composting and I bought this unit after researching it on line. It is easy for a newbie to assemble and use. I have just started my first batch so I have not seen the results yet. It is a good unit for the money, but BE AWARE you can buy it at $$$ in Tan for about $$$ cheaper than O's price :)

I wish we had started with this one
My husband was working an open compost pile off the side of our yard for the last year, and it wasn't going anywhere fast. This barrel is a great way to keep everything contained, so we don't have to worry about food attracting animals. It is not unsightly like our pile was, so we have it closer to the house which makes it easier to add scraps without having to hike out to the old pile. And obviously the ease of rotation is the biggest benefit. I have had this only a few weeks and can already see the progress of decomposition. It is AWESOME.

Great product, great price
I agree with a previous reviewer about the value of the stabilizer bar. It is essential and makes this a superior product. I have had many composters over the years. This is by far the best and well worth even the undiscounted retail price.
