I purchased this fan for my two grandsons. An electrician installed the fan for us since it is heavy and we needed support in the ceiling. The fan operates using a remote, which we thought would be a nice feature since my daughter could control the lights and fan speed without coming into the room. The fan was great for about a week. Then the remote stopped working. Since it can only be run via the remote, we have a nice decorative fan and light that does nothing. We have contacted Overstock and are trying to get a solution to our problem since the fan we bought is no longer available. Hope something can be done.

My great nephew Nicholas loves fans & has always been interesterd in them since he was a baby. My Mom promised him a new fan for his new bedroom. So when I saw this I knew it was the one for him. He loves ceiling fans & cars how perfect & with a remote control too. It is perfect & since he just turned 1 in Feb 2009 he will have this for quite a few years yet. Thanks for making our Nicholas smile!

This is one adorable fan! We bought this fan for my son's room who is into race cars. He loves it and actually thought that the cars could come off to play. The only draw back to the fan was the light fixture. It was very difficult to figure out how it comes apart to put in the light bulb. Otherwise is a high quality product from Overstock and you can't beat the price. Don't hesitate on this one!

I bought one of these for my sons room and he loved it. My father-in-law came to visit and he is a big race car fan, he fell in love with the fan. My husband and I decided to purchase my father-in-law a fan for Christmas and he loved it. This fan is great for all ages and it does not look cheap. I love the fact that it has a remote and dimmer (I use the dimmed light for my sons night light.).
