do like this toaster have problems getting a bagel in the slots. The slots are to narrow, I have to flatten a bagel to get it in. Also just one side of bread seems to get toasted and other side not so much. If you look into the toaster you can see that just one side of each slot gets really glows, while the other side barely glows. I liked my old ******* from the flea market better.

Disappointed The reason I bought a long slot was for artesian style breads. It worked for these breads, but it did not work for small breads or bagels. We had to keep digging the pieces out of the toaster. I've already ordered another toaster from a different place . . . obviously a different brand too.

Long toaster This is just what I was looking for. I eat the Oroweat wide sliced bread and was too wide for a regular toaster so this is perfect. Great buy.

Narrow slots This toaster takes wide slices of bread, but only if they recut fairly thin. Bagels don't fit. Toasting is uneven -- the ends of the wide slices get toasted, but the middle not so much.
