Yes, it's darker than the photo but very pleasing. Good, neutral colors that could work with any decor. Also, you can't really tell from the photo, there are there are hints of a greyish blue in the flowers....nice. Great vintage look! The pile is not too high. I have it on carpet, but it would look great on a wood floor.
I had bounced between Overstock and a few other sites looking for outdoor rugs for a breezeway area. One of the "flash sale" sites had these same rugs on "clearance" for $20 more each - I had thought that they just resembled this rug, but when I got the two I ordered from Overstock in the mail today, they were the exact same high end brand. (Which pleased me tremendously!) Note that the rugs do come tightly rolled (as expected when shopping online) but even after a few hours they've relaxed and are laying flat. Another 24-hours and they should sit perfectly. They are definitely outdoor material - a bit thick and "crunchy" for interior use - but I was looking for something to put in a high traffic area that I could hose dog prints and kid's muddy shoe prints off of. I feel like I got a great deal on exactly what I was looking for.
The size is perfect for my front door to greet guests. I'm very pleased with the quality and I'm sure it will last a long time. The description that was provided was right on. And the color goes very well with my furniture, which is a big plus. I would buy this all over again.
COLORS A LITTLE MORE VIBRANT THAN SITE. BROWN & BLUE/GREEN. NICELY BOUND. LIGHTWEIGHT. NOT MEANT FOR HEAVY TRAFFIC. I HAVE IT JUST FOR STEPPING OUT OF BED. IT DEFINITELY NEEDS A RUBBER MAT UNDER AS THE BACK IS A KIND OF HARD SURFACE. IT IS A VERY GOOD BUY FOR THE MONEY.
Very satisfied with the rug. It fits perfect in our contemporary dining room. Happy with it and priced right.
