I needed a large pot for brewing 5 gallon batches of beer. This was just the ticket. I used it with a Bayou Classic Patio Stove. It worked great. Nice even heat. It has a great thick bottom. I used Revere ware cleaner to get some scorching off the bottom. It washed right up after use. No rust anywhere.

Nice heavy pots. I use them to dye wool before processing. So far very satisfied and I anticipate they will hold up well over time.

Bought these for our church kitchen...they are very well made of heavy material and look good too. I'm sure we will enjoy using them for years to come. They are much better than the ones we had previously. Thank you for your service.

I have been looking for a nice pot to brew beer in as well as being able to cook some various foods for a large QTY of people. Just right for the brewing of beer. Good for all grain method or with Extract. A friend watched and now he is going to get one as well. You should look at the pot size and the size of the burner to make sure it fits good.

I bought this for my daughters boyfriend who is using it to brew beer. It is perfect and at least $20 less than anywhere else I looked. It is hard to find one this size as most are just 5 gallons then things are spilling everywhere. Instead of being taller, it is wider so has more area that gets heated faster. Would also be great for cooking crab - would recommend it for any large cooking project - another great find at overstock!

This is a well made stainless steel pot. It is durable yet light weight. It cleans very easily. Shipping on this item was extremely fast as well.

This is the perfect size for my homebrew beer making - large enough to prevent boil over. It's a very heavy s/s and should last a lifetime!

I purchased this stock pot for beer making, and it has performed admirably. It does seem like the thick bottom would also serve well for soup and stew.

My husband bought this pot to use for home brewing. It worked out great for his application! Couldn't have asked for a better pot.

This pot worked great, I was able to do a full boil with over 6 gallons of beer. I love the thicker bottom which adds protection to open flame brewing like I do in the backyard on a propane turkey frier. Could not find a better pot for the price, not Amazon nor E-bay. After I had made my Pumpkin Ale, I've added a new stainless steel thermometer to this pot. The brew stores want $150-$200 for a stainless pot with a thermometer, I managed to get a higher quality pot and thermometer for around $100.

Pot was shiny and free from blemishes or discolorations. There was a very small imperfection along the seam on the bottom, but doesn't seem it will be an issue. It seems like an excellent vessel for brewing beer.

I had been looking for a good, large stainless steel pot to brew some beer in, but they were all fairly expensive. This one is a great pot, easy to clean, and suits my needs. My only regret: I could have got it a little cheaper at another website that I found out about later, but such is life....

This is a very good value. This is not as heavy as the top-end stainless steel, but quite sturdy. I am very pleased with it.

This fit my immediate needs for a pickling project I had in progress. The item came as promised. The shipping box was in perfect order but the item had been sent with a dent in the rim and one on the bottom. Normally I would have sent it back , but I needed it right now. It has worked very well for my large projects. Heats evenly and cleans up easily.

This is a wonderful stockpot, very big, but wonderful. I had been looking for stockpots for my husband who makes BBQ sauce. This one stood out. He has used it once. I have used it several times for making Bread N Butter Pickles. It is a bit larger than I need, but it works great and is easy to clean up. You do need a large sink and large/tall faucet for cleaning it up or it could be cleaned up in a utility sink too...a great and very useful purchase.

This Product was more than I hoped for and would tell anyone who is in the market for a good stock pot this could be the one for you. I use mine for making BEER Hello!

It is huge!! requires 2 burners to be effective. Bought unit for home brewing beer and it worked flawlessly for a full 5 gallon batch. The handles feel solid and sturdy, I was able to lift and dump with approx. 4 gallons of water in it, It gets 3 stars from me only because the lid does fit properly - it fits but doesn't sit flush with the pot. Also the triple layered bottom (stainless, aluminum, stainless) looks like it wasn't welded together well as the seams are very visible. Other that those two points - which don't affect it in anyway so far- this pot is fantastic for the price
