Minimal assembly is required and it is easy to set up and use right out of the box. Before it's used the copper is nice and shiney, but after use the copper takes on a look of its own. Expect the copper to change to a more rustic appearance. After use, and some time for cooling it's easy to remove the bowl from the stand and clean with a water hose. The stand has curved feet, so the feet on the stand do not sink into natural ground.

Frame is heavy solid construction, copper bowl holds heat well. works great. I'll fashion a brick base for it because it does get hot. No cover is needed as it is so easy to move after cooling off, I put it in the garage. I researched and looked at a lot of these and did get what I wanted.

You have no idea how much you need one of these until you have one. they are so amazing to just look at when the fire is going. The Pictures do not do it justice. Holds a lot of wood. A very good purchase!

Pit is very over priced for its quality. Pit is much lower to the grown than shown in the picture, actually touches the ground (zinged grass). Also arrived without any grills which are shown in picture, grills arrived 3 weeks later

The fire pit is even better than I expected. After looking at all the fire pits I decided on this one. The fact that it is all copper made this the nicer of the options. It works great, and better yet it looks fablous. It was a father's day gift and my husband said it was the best gift yet. I highly recommend this firepit.

We weren't overly impressed with this fire pit. We thought the copper basin was too thin and it bends easily. After one use you can expect it to go from shiny and new to an antiqued patina. The bottom became black and peeled up, like paint would do, after just one use. Not sure how long it will last before we burn a hole through the bottom. At first, we didn't even think it was copper but it says it is. It is high enough off the ground that we would never have expected it to kill the grass, but it did. Either something needs to be under it if you place it on grass or you should just use it on a driveway or sidewalk to prevent crop circles. We also had a problem with one of the holes in the base being tapped too large so the screw just fell right out but Overstock (great customer service) just shipped a new base out to us very quickly.

i was hoping for something a little more substantial. looks nice will see how it holds up.. The one upside to it being lightweight. easy to dump ashes and store in garage..

The firepit is VERY nice, but the cover is a bit shabby. The handle broke off almost immediately after coming out of the box. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Also, the grate that sits in the bottom doesn't sit very high. Maybe an inch above the bottom...if that.

The firepit arrived perfectly. Came in quickly. It had the stand, the ash screen lid, and the grate. The copper bowl is large and can hold a good amount of wood. The hammered copper bowl and the cast legs really make it attractive. The bowl sits about 7" off the ground which works out fine. Had looked at all kinds of pits in the area. . and was thrilled when I checked this site. I would recommend to anyone who is looking to take a chill off the air.

When the weather cools down we will enjoy sitting around the fire. In the meantime, we are enjoying making s'mores.

I agree with the reviewer who stated the fire pit was overpriced for the product. It is smaller than expected and very low to the ground. I also did not recieve the grate that was supposed to be included. I have contacted Overstock and was told they would ship the grate in the coming weeks. If I had it to do over, I would not purchase the product.

Love this firepit! It was exactly what we were looking for. We looked and looked for just the right one, not one that was steel, but copper throughout and this is perfect. Highly recommend.
