i got this item to go in a small area beside my stackable washer/dryer which are upstairs in my loft area. the hamper sits outside and so i needed it to be compact and useful. i love that is has wheels to move it away from the machine so i have space to work in and return when done. the hamper itself pulls out to enable you to add clothes yet return to a hidden position. my detergent and softener are large so i dont put them on the shelves but all other accessories, stain remover, bleach etc go on the shelves. this item is sturdy as well, my last one bent under the weight.

This shelf/hamper combo is perfect for small spaces. It is taller than it appears in the picture and the hamper is able to hold a full load of clothes. It was easy to put together, my 9-yr old daughter helped me. It looks very stylish and fits in a corner of the bathroom.

The item looks like it does in the picture but it is not very sterdy. The hamper is smaller that I thought it would be. I have a very small laundry room and it fits fine but I wish that the product was more sturdy than it is. It is not a heavy duty piece. It cannot hold household laundry. It would probably do well for lingerie pieces. It otherwise looks good.
