This item arrived with some of the paint already missing. After two weeks out in the blazing New Orleans sun, the bench has already started to peel. I would not be surprised if this was actually interior paint on this item as opposed to exterior paint as it advertised. It looks nice, but the quality of the paint is awful.Read More
There was a small nick on the seat and I called the manufacturer to see if I could get a little touch up paint. They didn't have any, but offered to send me a new seat. One of the screws in the side arm was also overtightened when assembled by the factory and the wood split. The company is also sending a new arm. I cannot say enough about the customer service experience.Read More
I would not recommend this to anybody who wants to use this as outdoor furniture. We have not even had the furniture a year and the wood is dissolving. It does not last, and I have always been happy with all the furniture I have gotten from Overstock. I am going to see if they can refund or replace due to the fact that it has not been a year and the furniture is destroyed.Read More
This furniture is decent, but not a great value for the money. It's priced fairly and it's similar to what you might get at ****Read More
This is a very substantial bench ! Very sturdy and nice looking. The 3 drawers are just the right size for a pair of gloves and a hat to walk the dog! Meets our needs perfectly.Read More

How to Maintain Outdoor Benches
True to its namesake, an outdoor bench is probably going to spend a huge amount of time in the harsh outdoors. Even on your patio, an outdoor bench can undergo some undue wear and tear unless it is cared for properly. If you want your outdoor bench to last, you must give it the care and cleaning that it requires. Outdoor benches may come in a variety of different materials to match your outdoor patio furniture, and each one requires its own type of maintenance. Most likely, your bench will be either wicker, wooden or metal. A wicker bench is perhaps the easiest to maintain, and many wicker benches are made to be weather-resistant. Either way, here are a few ways to ensure your patio furniture lasts as long as possible.
Tips on Choosing Benches for Every Style
Benches, whether placed inside or outside the home, add charm and convenience to any decor. Many different types and styles of benches exist, from basic garden benches to benches made in the Louis XVI style. Knowing exactly which type of bench will work best isn't always easy. However, the task can become simpler if you think about both functionality and design. How to Choose Wooden Garden Furniture
Outdoor furniture is available in many materials to suit different outdoor areas. Steel and wicker outdoor furniture are both perfect for the porch or balcony, while a wrought-iron bistro set looks great on the patio. Wood garden furniture, from outdoor benches to dining tables, looks fabulous in the garden. There are many different kinds of wood to choose from, so finding the right outdoor furniture for your garden is easy no matter what style of garden you have.
How to Buy Outdoor Furniture Cushions
It's easy to update your patio furniture with fresh outdoor furniture cushions. Since the fabric of your outdoor cushions and pillows fades and weakens over time with exposure to rain and sunlight, you'll need to replace outdoor cushions every once in a while. Whether you need cushions for chairs or for benches, you can use these tips to find the perfect styles for your home.
How to Choose a Bench
Although most commonly used outside, benches have found a great amount of use inside the home. Not only do they offer additional seating, typically in a compact piece of furniture, but they also offer a great deal of versatility. Benches are great furniture for foyers, letting you sit when you take off or put on your shoes, and some styles will even have shelves to keep your shoes orderly. Benches also add style to bedrooms and living rooms, and storage benches give you a place to store items while keeping them easily accessible.

FAQs about Weight Benches
Weight benches are standard fixtures bought and used in most home gyms. They are one of the most popular home gym machines on the market today. Your basic weight bench consists of a board that measures about 1 foot wide and about 3 feet long and is supported on metal legs. The board is padded for the comfort of the user. Most weight benches also include an affixed rack or stand on one end to hold weights.
How to Place Outdoor Furniture in the Garden
Well-placed outdoor furniture provides additional function and decoration to a garden. Chairs, chaise lounges, benches and hammocks, all nestled amongst blooming plants, create a delightful space for summertime relaxation. Patio tables and chairs can turn an unused section of yard into a warm-weather area for meals and socializing with friends. There are few hard and fast rules for placing outdoor furniture, and much is a matter of personal taste; however, patio furniture placement is always best when it is easy to access and kept on stable soil or patio surfaces.
Best Sunroom Furnishing Ideas
Sunrooms are often some of the most popular areas of any home. Large windows and garden views make sunrooms feel like outdoor retreats while still providing the cover and warmth of indoor rooms. Because sunrooms are connected more to the outdoors than any other room in your home, pick design elements and furniture that work with that theme. Below, you'll find some of the best sunroom furnishing ideas. Seating: One of the most important parts of a sunroom is the seating arrangement. Since you'll likely want to spend many warm nights and bright days in your sunroom, you'll need adequate seating. Sunrooms typically feature either wood furniture or wrought iron seating. When deciding what's right for you, consider the overall look of the room as well as the intended comfort level. Wooden furniture with thick cushions is warmer and more comfortable than metal. A wicker sectional sofa with comfortable cushions will work well with the design of a sunroom. Alternatively, wrought iron benches and chairs give a modern look and feel to a room. Mismatched plush armchairs are a great way to bring both comfort and casual elegance to a sunroom. Tables: When picking out tables for your sunroom, consider how you're going to use the area. Choose a low table that can act as a coffee table for guests to set down their drinks. Tables with glass inserts match sunrooms well because of surrounding glass windows. Sunrooms are a popular place to go during parties and family get-togethers, so consider adding a small dining table and chairs to the room for meals. Design elements: Although sunrooms are indoors, they tie in the nature and wonder of the outdoors. Choose design elements that bring both sun and nature into the room. Wicker planters can hold plants of your choice. Place planters on side tables and on the floor next to entrances to give an inviting impression as guests enter the room. Artwork can change a bland sunroom into something charming and interesting. Look for paintings and sculptures that incorporate colors and themes from the surrounding decor.
