The cost was reasonable enough, and since I do not need to operate the drill press on a production line pace I am sure that it will be fine for me. The box was damaged and was obviously opened at some time and retaped together. The cover for the motor was crushed into the cooling fan (I fixed it) and some of the nuts and bolts were missing. All in all it arrived in shabby order but I have it and have repaired it well enough for my use. I was not going to pay shipping back to get another drill press that may not have been any better.

This drill press is a great value for the money. I would recommend to anyone with some serious drilling to do as well as light work
