    I really liked the design and color of these. But when I got them, nearly every bowl had obvious mistakes in the design painting. I've had several sets of hand painted pieces, but the bowls should have been rejected. The other dishes and cups were fine. Overstock looked at ones they had in stock and told me the bowls in the others were equally inferior.

    I read that eating from red dishes eat less so I went looking for red dishes. I am very pleased with these. The shapes are exactly what I wanted, especially in the cereal/soup bowl. There are well made heavy dishes that will last a long time. They clean up beautifully in the dishwasher and are microwave safe. I would recommend them to any one.
