We bought the firm mattress for more back support. The mattress came compressed & rolled in a big tube like box. It was very easy to open and put on our existing box springs. It did not have any noticeable smell and we were able to sleep on it the same night. It did seem to expand a bit more over the next few days, and you will need to have deep sheets to fit this mattress. We've had the mattress 3-4 weeks, and it is very comfortable, although it took me a few nights to get used to. The jury is still out as to whether this mattress will develop a 'hump' in the middle like our past mattresses have. During the night we sleep on our respective sides of the bed, & it doesn't take long for the hump to form in the middle. I'm thinking this might? be happening with this mattress as well, but I can't tell just yet. Otherwise, it's been great so far.
Just got this 2 days ago! Within 2 hrs, it was basically full sized. I did not notice any odor & the product is nice & firm. I am so happy & look forward to many restful nights. I will revisit in a few weeks for an update..................
