The pan is thin and much lighter than traditional cast iron. The food cooks up well. I did try to reseason it when it first arrived (just something I prefer to do), and the seasoning did not seem to take on the outside of the pan for some reason. I am very happy with my purchase and with the addition to my cast iron collection of cookware.

Cast iron is good, non-stick without chemicals. That's one I am looking for a long time.Good built and light weight comparing with other cast iron, thank you overstock.

I WAS LOOKING FOR A CAST IRON WOK WHEN I FOUND THIS WONDERFUL PAN. IT'S CONSTRUCTION IS CAST IRON BUT IS A LIGHTER WEIGHT AND DOES NOT LOSE THE QUALITY OF CAST IRON COOKING. IN MY OLDER UMMMM OLDER AGE I WANTED TO HAVE THE QUALITY OF CAST IRON BUT NOT THE HEAVY WEIGHT THIS PAN DOES THE TRICK FOR ME. THE QUALITY OF HEATING SURFACE IS EXCELLENT.

The super thin cast iron wok is okay. It doesn't seem as durable as I had hoped, but with time we will know. So far, it prepares food satisfactorily. No specific problems or complaints.
