Wasn't to sure about getting this mattress so I thought I would give it a try. It was pretty easy to put together and light weight it expanded right away to size and only had a smell for a hour or so. We were able to sleep on it the first night. The layers of the bedding are not cut the same size there are gaps and they are crooked also the cover doesn't fit that it came with . Still not a deal breaker it is like sleeping on air we were both asleep in a matter of minutes. I never felt my husband move all night long. My deep pocket sheets fit it great just not the cover it came with I would recommend buying to my friends. I hope it holds up...
I bought this bed knowing it's for a recreational vehicle. I called Accutech, the manufacturers and they stated the only difference between this bed and a bed for a house is this bed isn't encased, it's just layers of foam. That makes this bed one of the cheapest memory foam beds I've seen, anywhere and any thickness. This bed is at lease two layers of memory foam making it 7 fill inched of memory foam. All the other mattresses I've seen have maybe three inches. So, you get thicker foam. The foam base can be adjusted as well for stiff or medium. Making this a really nice bed. The only note is it's a couple inched smaller on the width and height. It's still a king, just a smaller king size.
This product is turned out to be a great buy for us! This is our first purchase from Overstock so I hoped that I had not made a mistake on such a big purchase since it is not returnable. My husband and I are both happy with this mattress. It took some getting used to but after leaving for a weekend and sleeping in a "bad" bed I came to appreciate just how much I loved this mattress. I don't like the cover that came with it as it is cheaply made and my nail went through it while trying to cover the mattress when first putting it on. I do like being able to rearrange the 4 layers of the mattress to find a comfort level for us.
I love this bed! It acts like the commercials describe those other foam beds (you know what I mean). It also has the cool feature of coming in layers, each layer is a different density so you can chose your firmness (pretty well anyway). The layers are good too if you move so you don't have to lug around a huge bed. We bought the metal platform frame from here and it works great with the mattress. At this price I don't care if it only lasts 2 yrs, it is super comfy and I sleep like a log!
we were replacing a failing softside water bed......so anything would be good.....we worried about the transition to the foam ...that wasnt a prob at all ...bed feels great.......having trouble getting the smell of the bottom 2 foam mattresses to subside......the smell is not bothering us but had bought a single for the grandson and my daughter just can't get past it.....I love this mattress
