after reading reviews I decided to get a medium and it was way hard. I was able to sleep on it for a week then gave it to my son who it was purchased for anyway. He how ever likes it. But then he can sleep on anything.
I have not personally slept on this mattress but my husband and several guest have attested to its comfort. We bought one first to test it out, then when we were pleased with its quality, we bought a second for the matching twin. One is being used as a guest bed and one will be a bed for our 2.5 year old son, so we wanted comfort without spending a ton of money. This seemed to fit both criteria, and it arrived right when expected. I am not sure if it is an excellent value or not (I didn't do any comparison shopping, but rather went by the other reviews on Overstock), but it seemed pretty reasonable for what you get. We also saved another 10% on mattress #2 due to a bedding sale that was going on when we ordered it. We went with the soft firmness level and it seems to be comfy and supportive without being weak. Very pleased with the purchase, and the shipping and set up made it so incredibly easy to get the beds assembled.
Very happy. This mattress was order was medium firm.... It is just right.... I am glad I had read the reviews prior to purchase and did not get the extra firm.... I have had some of the best night slept in years.... The price was very good... ones in my area were $400 more and not as nice... you will like it...
I chose the soft and we are very pleased with everything about the bed. I purchased it for my son, and we all like it. We are even considering a larger one. It does tend to hold in more body heat making it a little warmer than a regular mattress once you lay on it a while, but it does not seem to be really hot feeling like I had expected. Although it is soft, it is firm enough that you don't sink completely down into it yet you don't feel like like you are sleeping on a board either. There was no smell at all to the mattress that we received and it took shape within a hour or two. It is easy to move around and suits our needs very well.
This is a great value. I purchased the twin medium mattress and I'm very satisfied. I was looking for a firm mattress but after reading some reviews of the (firm select) I was afraid it would be too firm so I went the medium and it turned out to be the proper choice. Another good deal from Overstock.com.
