After reading the reviews already online, we ordered the medium firmness. I can't imagine what the 'firm' one is like, since medium is very hard. We weren't happy with that aspect. I have noticed that I am not as stiff when I wake up in the morning. I think it does support all the parts of my body with no pressure points in evidence. I just wish it weren't quite so firm.

I love my new bed, If you like softer beds make sure you order soft. I did medium thinking soft would be too soft and well I was mistaken. Anyways it is totally worth the price. I am happy with this bed.

The first night on our new mattress both DH and I thought perhaps we should have purchased the medium and not the firm.... but that was just the first night. We are both sleeping much better and the bed is quite comfy. We are very happy with the mattress so far.

Purchased OCT. 2009 So far Memory Foam Mattress is holding up great. I have a firm mattress which has soften up to be just right. Time will tell............

This bed would get a one star rating from me on its own. Based on user feedback (which we always find to be very helpful), we ordered a soft one. The only thing that went to sleep on it were my arms and wherever else there was a pressure point. Even soft is very very firm. After a couple of uncomfortable nights on it, I ordered a 4" soft memory foam topper. Perfect combo, no back ache ever and boosted its rating to 5 stars. This is my second purchase of this mattress. Got one (with 4" topper) for the B/F who also loves it and reports no back aches which he had with a conventional, very, very, very expensive pillow-top mattress (also with foam topper). Also got fast shipping. Ordered Friday and received Monday. Doesn't get much better than that!

I've been sleeping on this mattress for a couple weeks now and it's quite comfortable. There was a slight odor at first, but it dissipated within a day or two. The one complaint I have is that it's firmer than I expected, especially since I ordered the "soft" version. Overall, the mattress is a good value and I'd recommend it.

I ordered this mattress after looking around for a new one and I was horrified at the prices for any non-coil or spring mattress. All of the air filled and memory foam ones are very expensive - until I saw this one. I read the reviews and decided to take a chance since almost everyone seemed very pleased. My mattress arrived within 7 days, was very easy to set up, had no odor and is very comfortable. I agreed that the medium is quite firm but I think it was a good choice for me. It's been about 3 weeks so far and I'm very happy with this purchase. I've purchased about 8 or 9 things from Overstock so far and I have been very happy with each one. I love this site!

This is so so cozy as well as firm ; I was very impresses at how easy it was to open the package an set as well as you can use your old box spring with this product. The Temperpedic mattress you have to use their platform box spring. So all in all this was a great purchase an I love overstock .com. Also I would recommend this mattres to any one with back pain problems sleeping etc.. This is a product that has trully helped me , I sleep so good at night anno more waking up wth back problems .. Thank You!!!!!

I would definitly recommend this mattress to others...it is wonderful. I have been getting the best sleep since i got this bed...no more tossing n turning in the night.

I am glad I purchased this product. My back feels better with this mattress because it conforms to your body. I notice less tossing and turning throuhought the night. However, I think I should have went with a king because I still get drawn into the creavas on my partners side.There was hardly any smell when the package was opened.

The mattress is of top quality, but the medium is still hard as a rock. Couldn't sleep the first night on it. I had to buy a topper and now I am able to sleep and it's very comfortable. Wish I had gotten the soft. I'm assuming the mattress will soften with age, but in the meantime the topper works well on it.

If you have been mattress shopping than you already know this is a steal at the price. Be aware, if you order the firm, it is VeRY firm. I have had the mattress for 3 weeks. It is very easy to set up, so have no worries about that. I am a pretty good size man (6'2, 240), and every mattress sales person suggested I use a mattress that would be a little softer to evenly distribute my weight, but after testing them out (Which means I would lay on the mattress at the store, you don't know what it is like unless you sleep in one for a night) I felt the firm was the best. So buyer beware, it is very nice and comfortable, but the Mattress is FIRM!

I literally read EVERY review posted before purchasing this bed. I wanted a firm mattress, but upon reading the reviews was hesitant, but ordered a FIRM anyway. I have only had it a short time but it is perfect for me - not too hard at all. I never used to wake up to the alarm ( because I was already awake) and now every morning the alarm wakes me. This morning I turned off the alarm and immediately fell back to sleep and was late for work! I live in a walk-up in Manhattan and was able to handle the package myself, easy to unpack, mattress had no smell whatsoever and was fully expanded almost immediately. Few very minor flaws - strings hanging off the seams, etc. Great purchase!

i recently purchased a 11" foam mattress and am pleased to report my satisfaction with this product. not only am i sleeping in comfort, but my sleep is longer, most of the time, through the entire night. i used to have a waterbed but the memory foam is the way to go. the product came as advertised and was a breeze to set-up! i would also add that this is my second memory foam buy from Overstocked as i had bought a full sized mattress a couple of months ago to try is out before buying a queen sized version. i also bought the memory foam pillows to match and sheets as well. the price was very attractive and the product lived up to others reviewsthank you

Overall this was a pretty good deal. The mattress never did get to the 11 inch thickness. 9-1/2" at best. Had it expanded to the full size I probably would have given it 5 stars all-around. And it probably would have been a bit more comfortable. Like other reviewers said, it is firm. I bought the medium because my husband is a big guy and I was concerned soft would be too soft. But I like it and am glad I bought this for price. There was no odor & it was very easy to unpack by myself. Would recommend/purchase again.

The best nights sleep - so comfortable, conforms to your body. Pressure points on ordinary mattresses are non-exsistant on this mattress. I highly recommed this product especially if you have back problems. The only negative is that the mattress can become a little bit warm but the positives definetely out weight this negative. I haven't had a better nights sleep since purchasing this product.

The mattress todate is barely inflating to 10 inches. So I am very disappointed for a products that advertises to be 11"

Having worked as a manager at a major national mattress store I know what to look for in a mattress. I was sold on the concept of memory foam a long time ago. So when our coil mattress started to not provide a good night's rest I decided to purchase a memory foam mattress from Overstock. I have always said quality is better than price, but having purchased a few larger items from Overstock I was willing to try a mattress. Keep in mind even the "soft" memory foam will not feel as soft initially as your typical pillow top or plush coil mattress. That is just the way memory foam works instead of pillowing you it cradles. We purchased the medium 11" memory foam mattress. We sleep wonderfully. We are both side sleepers but sometimes find ourselves sleeping on our backs with no discomfort and less flipping and flopping around. I recommend getting the mattress ready in the same room you are going to place it, air it out a bit, walk all over it to break it in (that's what we did in the stores!) and then go to bed. Overall = Great comfort, great price, fast delivery, great packaging and nice looking product!

I waited 3 months to write this review so as to give you an accurate review. First and foremost i fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow, thats something new. the first week i woke up in the position i fell asleep in. Now i will say it was a little firm for a soft, but i knew it would be,iwas going to order a firm but other reviews persuaded me out of it. So for the first 3 months a definite thumbs up. After much research, we purchased the medium level mattress and are glad we did. The mattress is for our teenage daughter's room (she weighs less than 120#) and she wanted something soft but not too soft (her name is NOT Goldilocks). The previous reviews indicated the firm mattress was exceptionally firm and we didn't want to take a chance that the soft would not give her support. The medium is quite soft...when my husband sits on the edge of the mattress he compresses it, but lying on it is heavenly. It is the perfect density for a person who weighs under 180 pounds. If you are heavier, I can imagine that there would be greater compression of the foam and a firmer mattress might be in order. As always, our experiences with Overstock continues to totally please us...price point, value, quality and service for returns if needed *but mattress is non-returnable"...Color me a happy customer!!
