When I first slept on this bed I thought I would hate it because I ordered the firm and it feels like a brick until your body heat softens it a litte. But after 3 week of using it, my lower back pain has all but disappeared. I use to wake up every morning with back pain and now I jump out of bed feeling great. No more pain (in the morning anyway). I had surgery for a herniated disk 4 years ago and haven't felt this good getting out of bed since. It takes a little getting use to the firmness, but when you do, you get a really good nights sleep. I love it.

This KIng Select A Firmness Mattress is wonderful. It is firm, but not rock hard - just what I imagined a firm would feel like.Had this for over a month now and love it. The mattress itself has a sewn durable fabric on the bottom and an engraved pattern on the top side. Reached full height within an hour; slept on it the first night.I have a lower back problem and this mattress lets me sleep quite well, much better than my previous 4" memory foam topper (way too soft).Would heartily recommend this to anyone that wants a FIRM mattress that looks and feels VERY well made. Made in the USA, also!

great mattress, we ordered the firm and it is a little too firm. we just added a pillow top mattress pad and feels great now! i think this one wil last a long tme! great price

Excellent quality mattress and a great deal. We like a medium firm - firm mattress, but because of so many reviews stating it was firmer than expected, we ordered the soft. We are so glad we did , because even the soft is very firm.It has taken a couple weeks to get use to, but we are now waking up with no stiffness. ORDER THE SOFT!

Now keep in mind that this is compared to sleeping on a spring mattress for years....and years. But, I am so impressed with this mattress. I woke up feeling refreshed and as stated by many other owners of this product, my backaches are no longer an issue. Also, I've spent countless nights staying up late watching Alfred Hitchcock on Hulu, but last night, I couldn't even stay up to finish one episode! ***Buy this mattress!***

We had to go with a foam mattress in order to get it in an upstairs room in a cabin. This would probably fit through any tight space. It came super fast and was easy to handle etc. There was a slight smell, but not bad. My only wish is that I had ordered a soft instead of medium as it is very, very firm. I didn't think I had a problem with firm matresses but this may be too hard for me. I wake up feeling slightly sore. The firm mattress would be good for people used to sleeping on park benches.

PURCHASED QUEEN SIZE LAST YEAR FOR 15 YEAR OLD SON, ANOTHER FOR OUR GUEST ROOM AND AWAITING OUR KING SIZE FOR OUR MASTER BEDROOM WHICH IS IN PROCESS OF BEING SHIPPED. I CANT WAIT, I'VE TESTED OUT BOTH THE BEDS I HAVE ALREADY AND THEY WERE GREAT. PURCHASED SOFT FOR ALL THREE. BEAUTIFUL AND COMFORTABLE. THIS O-CLUB CUSTOMER IS TOTALLY SATISFIED.

After a 3 month trial, I must say that this is the mattress. We are in our mid 30s and our weights range between 175-230. We put this mattress on bunkie boards on a platform bed. My 2 to 3 times a month visits to the chiropractor (for the past 6 yrs) has decreased to once a month. I can tell a huge difference in my back. We bought the firm and I think it is perfect. We both love it. I have to agree that this mattress is a little off on typical king size measurements and can be a pain getting the sheets on. But who cares. We have not had any problems with sagging or "crushed" foam. It is holding its shape just fine. (Check into buying bunkie boards; this could be the trick.) I highly recommend it. The price is unbeatable and you can't find anything remotely this affordable in any store. I spent all summer testing out mattresses. This was a very worthy purchase.

This is a great mattress. It expanded to full size within a couple of hours and had no smell at all. After reading the reviews about how firm it is, I ordered the soft. The soft is very comfortable. I consider it to be pretty firm. If it was any more firm, it would need a topper.

Well, we took the plunge after reading how happy everyone else was with this mattress. And here we are, not even a full six months later, in the market for yet another new bed. We had such high hopes! And it was heavenly at first, this bed. Like a cloud! But my husband, all 6' 4" and 275 lbs of him, crushed down the foam on his side in less than three months. So we spun it around and the 120 lbs me slept in the sunken spot, as we figured I was lighter and therefore wouldn't sink as much. Now, there is a sunken spot on both sides and the once beloved mattress is headed for the trash. If it had just been the 120 lbs me, the bed probably would have lasted forever. But if you weigh in excess of 200 lbs, DO NOT BUY THIS MATTRESS! Unless, that is, you only need to use it for three months... And I must say, in all fairness, that the first three months, before the crushed down foam lost its memory, that was the best bed I ever slept in...... The BEST! Alas, ours was but a brief encounter, and doomed from the start it seems... Still, before it got all forgetful, I loved that bed passionately...

It took me months to get the courage to buy a mattress online. I was warned by a lot of people but after reading so many reviews, I decided to take the plunge. Im glad I did. The only thing to be careful of is the actual size you get. We ordered a King and it was actually wider than a king so we had to move a board off of our king setting. That was fine because it gave us extra room. It was a little shorter as well but they did warn us that they are cut different each time. It all worked out and the bed if comfortable and firm.Im glad I did this because we saved alot of money

We have had this mattress for a month and it is wonderful. My husband has had back problems and his back feels great in the morning. It is very firm. Great value also.

My husband and I purchased this after our $1200 mattress decided it wanted to have sleeping grooves in it after only a year. So far we love our new mattress, we got the king size(highly recommend) in medium firmness. It is pretty firm for a medium and we're glad we didn't go any firmer. We love firm mattresses, so if you're not a firm matress person, I would go with the soft or even a different brand. However, if you're like us, then a medium should be just fine. And really you can't beat the price for this kind of quality. So if you're on the fence about whether you should get this or not, GET IT! You won't regret it :)

Like others, I agonized over buying a mattress on-line. Just thought that was crazy to do, especially since you can't send it back. I researched this mattress for a good 4 months and litterly read every review for every size. Here is what I came up with: The firm is not rock-hard. If it's too firm, add a memory foam topper. This mattress is better than the not-mentioning-names $2500 version. This mattress expanded in less than 4 hours AND it was sitting in the package for nearly 6 weeks before we set it up (recommended set up 72 hours after arrival). Comes shipped to you like a tootsie roll. It's on the heavy side so two people should set it up.The bottom line is this mattress is by far our best investment. I no longer wake up with neck and back pain and actually dreamed last night. I feel like I am sleeping on a cloud.

I have waited 6 months to write this review so that I could be sure that the matress would not sag orgive me any trouble. I have to say that I am extremely pleased with it and have reccomended it to everyone I know! YOu will love this bed..pair it with the isocool pad and heat transfer will not be a problem....

I read that the soft actually felt like a medium so I ordered the soft. The soft definitely was not too soft as I was worried that the soft might really be soft, if that makes any sense. On mattresses, I usually sleep on a medium and this was definitely firm enough for me. On the reviews, I read that the mattress doesn't last for over a year so I only gave a 4 star out of 5 since I've only had this mattress for two months. So far, the firmness has held up and has not made permanent indentations where my body has been. It's a good buy for the price.

We have been sleeping on this bed for 3 nights now, it is so worth the money! It has the same foam as much more expensive nationally advertised brands, and sleeps just as well. I highly recommend this mattress to anyone.

We've been using our mattress for 6 months now and it's as great as the day we bought it. Both my husband and I love the support and credit our good night's sleep to this mattress. Bargain price but top-quality product.
