My husband & I read the reviews before our purchase. We purchased 2 and 1 is already in the garbage after the second use. They look great but cannot be used if there is even the slightest breeze. The frame construction will not hold the 11ft span in any kind of wind. We should have known it was too good to be true. Money wasted!

Do not buy this umbrella unless you are thinking of it as a disposable item. After one year, the navy color has faded to a disgusting gray and is so unsightly that I need to replace it. The umbrella itself is in perfect working condition but the faded color makes it no longer usable. Stay away from this item.

An 11' umbrella covers a lot of area. We found a decent base for it so it can handle a light wind. We enjoy it very much.

Would recommend with cautions Good quality for money, however ordered a tan umbrella I got a navy blue umbrella Not advisable if wind is a factor in area of use, like over 8 miles an hour Spokes for umbrella are flexible and due to the size wind can turn the umbrella inside out. Fortunetly for us it is durable enough not to break, at least the first two times of being inverted. Creates large shaded area Serves its purpose when the weather is calm

nice look but one area has already come undone. will have to sew it back myself.

Set it up today. Nice size. Comes in two pieces for easy storage. Does not tilt, but with size should not be a problem

the 11 foot umbrella is a real good size for shading our oblong table. It holds up in light winds with no problems.

This canopie is big and beautifull and the price is right.

I would have given an overall 5 star review on all points, but we have not experienced the durability and construction part yet. We are very pleased with the over all look, size and the appearance that it looks durabie. It has not been used yet, will post after we have had it for awhile.

The comments regarding the wind is true. The day I put it out on our pool deck there was a slight wind and the umbrella and table started to lift when a gust would pass by. I ended up moving the umbrella to another table located on our deck which is protected from the wind by a screen porch on one side of our home on the other. This is a nice looking product but very light weight.

This umbrella is more than I expected. It looks great and durable. We haven't had it out for a long period of time to test it yet, but just by opening it up and checking it out, it seems to be good quality.

Great value for money. Only concern is wind, so close when windy. The pole is not very sturdy, but great product.

You get what you pay for...I just wanted a temporary patio umbrell until we built a roof over our patio. The unbrella is FINE, I wouldn't trust it to hold up in a heavy wind, support poles are plastic and fabric is thin. I bought the black, looks nice with my black patio set.

Hi I bought this umbrella and was hoping it was as good as it looked and wow were we impressed love the durability the look and it matched our patio dining room to a tee love it. First time i ever shopped thru overstock i am very satisfied.

this umbrella is large enough to cover my whole table. the crank makes it easy to use and the taupe color is very nice. my other umbrella is 9ft. and doesnt have a crank. difficult to put up. it also cost me 3 times as much.

We love this umbrella! It is HUGE! We have a rectangular table and it covers the whole thing and casts a GREAT shadow in the backyard too!

I liked the umbrella and I liked the cost. However I left the umbrella up on a day with a little wind and it flipped up and broke. I'm not sure if that is a durability problem or not. I would purchase another one if it was not the end of summer. This is the first time I used overstock and since I have odered a faucet for my bathroom, have not received yet. I will get it on 9/5/08. I will also use overstock again if I need anything else in the future. Thank you.

We have a very large deck with partial coverage from a tree. We needed a large umbrella for another seating section of the deck. This umbrella was the answer. Because it is in a free standing base and being so large, we are mindful of the weather if a storm is coming to put it down. Other than that, it is a great buy, looks nice, and well constructed.
