  • Disappointing product

    I really love The Balms colored products, but I found this primer to just be OK. I find it did not prevent creasing, nor made colors wear all day, like my other higher end primers do. It is not even as good as some of my drugstore primers. It is better than nothing at all for controlling oily eye lids, and does enhance the colors of the eyeshadows. Halfway through the day, though, I had creasing and color sliding off my eyes. The formula is more like a balm than a cream, so to me it drags a little more when I put it on. The color is light, and blend into the skin invisibly. It has a slight scent, and made my eyes water a little until it dried. I will use this to swatch new colors on my arm, so it's not a total loss, but I would not buy again.

    I was disappointed with this item. I expected the product to be more opaque. It is almost like putting Vaseline on lids. Need something more to cover discoloration on lids as well as keep shadow on all day.
