Great hair straightener!
I used the CHI before this product for 4 years and was reluctant to change to another product. I have to say tho, that this product is ready to use in less than one minute of charging it and it cuts my time to straighten by hair by half! It's great and I would recommend this to anyone.

Excellent product. This is my 2nd ghd, my 1st one was a 1inch classic gold and I dropped it too many times on the floor and it broke so needed a replacement. This is a 2 INCH styler, meaning the plates are 2 inches wide. The description is wrong (says 1 inch) and picture is hard to see if it is actually 2 inches. It is, so don't worry. This straightener is fantastic-heats up in 30 seconds and I can straighten my hair fast due to the larger plates. I have thick, long hair so I needed the 2 inch. There is only one heat setting, but I knew this and it works perfectly for me. Also, this is 100% authentic, registered perfectly on ghd site.

- How accurate was the on site description of the product? Wrong- says it has 1 inch plates when it actually has 2 inch plates as the name suggests

Love GHD, warranties are a great thing to have. Overstock came through with any questions in my request from a phone call to include email responses about the GHD product and its authenticity and to inculde their offered extended warranty. Love this Flat Iron!
I had a cheap flat iron from Walmart and had used a friends professional one once and noticed the difference. I purchased this GHD based off of the great reviews and looking at the typical price for one. I love it! It heats up in 30 seconds (wow!) and doesn't seem to damage my hair like the cheap on I had. Also can straighten my hair quickly and it's shiny and soft and maintains all day!

Very Nice
After using another GHD, my wife can never go back.. This is a newer model that cuts off after x minutes of use, so no need to worry about leaving it on all day at work. It's also the widest one GHD makes now, another big plus..
