This is the best flat iron ever! It makes my hair so straight and shiny, I love it! It's a major upgrade from my old Chi, which is a paperweight when compared to this GHD. I managed to register my product on the GHD website, which was great because i was skeptical when i saw the review by a reviewer who thought their product was not authentic.

I purchased this because I read reviews that it was an authentic GHD product from other customers who said they were able to register theirs. It would not allow me to register the flatiron. The flatiron got so hot on the outside that I could not hold the end as I was straightening my hair. It burnt my hair and it has a horrible smoke smell when you turn it on. I'm sending it back immediately. Too bad I now have to pay $$ to return it. Guess it's true you get what you pay for.
