When i told my friends i was getting a salt lamp, it was like, "HUH" what the heck is that? i had heard of them and wanted to get one if only for the decoration. it's in my bedroom on a lower shelf of a nightstand and i leave it on all night. such a nice glow, not too bright - and i think it helps. not sure about the health benefits, but it was so inexpensive that i am glad i got it in any case.

I was amazed that such a piece of salt could be so pretty and peaceful..It is quite beautiful and i will buy one for every room..

I love this lamp, this is the second one I purchased and am planning on purchasing another one for my daughter. This lamp has a dimmer switch which is a nice feature. It also comes with a light bulb. I keep the lamp lit 24/7 and it does seem to help with my allergies.

This lamp is awesome! We got it for the baby's room and it looks so amazing. Brighter than you'd expect but it really is a nice, soft light. Very soothing. WELL worth the $$$!
