Does what it's suppossed to do!
I've tried other people's super expensive ion or tourmaline hair dryers and personally I think they are just a gimmick so that the makers can charge a lot more money for a hair dryer that just dries hair. Thats what this dryer does-- it dries hair, nothing magical people! The settings all work, the product shipped quickly and was well packed. The only reason I give it four stars and not five is that because it lacks a couple of "nice to have" feautres that really have nothing to do with hair drying but are good for travelling/storage-- like a fabric bag and a folding handle. Again, the dryer works well but I haven't had it long-- hopefully it will last a few years and keep me happy.

Works Fine and Cheaper Than the Rest
My flyaway hair requires an ion blow dryer and this one works just fine. I was replacing a Conair Ion Shine dryer that cost $15 more and I can't tell the difference.

it works, i don't know what the ion component does
it works, a bit bulky, does the job, there is not much to say, it dries my hair, it doesn't make it silky, it dries my hair

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. it has been used 2 times, it is a bit tricky to figure it out, it is not an on and off item, i don't know why someone would pay for a more expensive hair dryer
