Well, I would add that a three year-old is willing to cooperate with this method of temperature taking, too, and it spares us having to buy an expensive ear thermometer or trying to coach him into keeping the standard thermometer under his tongue.

    I ordered this digital thermometer pacifier to tuck in a gift basket for a new baby. The thermometer is package nicely and has a soft nipple that is similar to the "Nuk" brand pacifiers. I'm sure the parents won't use it often, but it will come in handy whenever the baby seems to be running a temp. (Definitely, an easier method to check it!)
