When i first received my Croc flatiron, I was anxious to try it out.. The very moment I straightened my hair with it, I fell in love. Over time with gradual usage, I began to notice after having the settings to the max, my hair had broken off tremendously.. It was best that I had the temp on a low setting. Unfortunately, I didn't have the darn thing for a year and it came apart. With close inspection, the product is veryyy flimsy. I really regret not purchasing the product w/o the protection plan. I wanted to purchase another Croc flatiron, but I see that they are all made the same while the back part of the swivel being easy to break.. I do not recommend this for anyone.

My daughters have very wavy and kinky hair and no flat iron has ever flattened their hair as well, nor as fast, as this Croc does. We like it so much that we have since ordered a second one, so that they each have their own.

i had had a chi for the past 4 years and never had a problem with it. then when it went on the fritz everyone said it was the croc was the it iron. so i decided to try it. the heat is incredible. the digital display is great. not as bulky. its a bit bigger than the regular chi so if you are used to the smaller size order the 1". i also recommend the regular croc over the titanium. my friends is a bit better than mine. overall this flat iron is just as good if not better than the chi. gotta try it for yourself to decide.

I am a hairdresser, I have gone through my fair share of flat irons. The Croc flat iron by far straightens hair better and faster than any i have used in the past. I live in Louisiana, where it is very humid and I find that hair stays straighter after using this product. I highly recommend this flat iron and Overstock. I also received my order in 2 days!

This straightner was fantastic, but after 8 months, refused to turn on. I spoke with a representative from overstock, and they offered to give me a refund. It hasn't gone through yet so hopefully they honor it.

I usually highly recommend Croc straightners, however this iron malfunctioned after only 4 months of purchase. It was the second of these irons I have had that the temperature gauge malfunctioned and it would not heat past 100 degrees when it is supposed to heat up to 450. It was only used moderately, generally every other day. Would switch back to the product if I could be guaranteed they would be more reliable.

light weight, super fast heating, digital display. Is the BEST flat iron I have used for my thick/frizzy hair. Not a bad thing to say about my croc!

I bought one of these for my daughter. Every time she came to visit she let me use it. My hair looked so much better. Finally my more expensive flatiron died so I could finally buy myself a croc!

I was a little disappointed when I opened the box to find the paddles not as wide as I'm used to. I have long hair and the wide paddles covered a lot of territory. I thought I would try it once and send it back if it didn't work for me......WOW it was unreal! I would start to iron my hair when I woke up in the morning and do it until I left for work.....not with this iron. I run my hair through it once and that was it I never went back! In fact it stayed that way for another day. Love the fact that I'm not burning my hair all morning too. I highly reccommend you won't be disappointed....proof that you always get what you pay for. Spend the extra money on this one!!!!

My sister in law, a professional and award-winning hairdresser/stylist, recommended this product (she uses the same in her salon) and it is WONDERFUL. I have very coarse hair and it straightens it quickly and makes it look sleek and shiny. Awesome design and love the digital temp.

My hair stylist recommened this Flat Iron to me when I kept complaining about my hair and was frustrated with my style (or lack thereof). The iron heats up real fast and has a nice long cord. It does not pull the hair and because of its size you can get close to the scalp without creating weird crimps in the hair. It is easy to use and I have gotten several comments on my hair since purchasing the product.

This flat iron works great. I do, however, recommend ordering the warranty. The spring in mine broke after a year, so the 12.99 was well worth a brand new one.

I owed/used my flat iron for 6 years before it finally died on me. Was looking for a replacement to meet its standards and found it with this Croc Iron. I am black and have super thick hair. This flatiron gets my hair very straight and I don't have to have the heat on high either. I love the fact that it heats up within about 6 seconds after turning it on. My only con is, i wish I could set it up on the counter flat versus on the side so that it doesn't burn my countertop. Other than that, great quality and well worth the money.

My daughter has a head full of long curly red hair which needed the extra width of this iron. Her hair is as straight and shiny as anyone with natural straight hair after using the Croc.

I have 3 girls and we all have curly hair. We all have a croc flat iron and will continue to buy them. We have only had one that did not last very long, out of 6. And we had one that my daughter tried to plug into a converter in the car and that fried the inner parts.

Purchased this flat iron three months ago. It does a great job. My hair was straight the way I like it. BUT, the spring on the iron does not work. I would have to open up the flat iron with my fingers ...hold it up to place my hair in it....and then squeeze the poop out it..... Took a long time to get it straighten....did I mention this was my second Croc flat iron....and the same thing happen to the first.

I wish I had known about this iron sooner! It gets hot in seconds and cuts the time in half. The best iron I've bought to date!

It's great!! My hair is really hard to straighten and the Croc Flat Iron does the job is less time. It also heats up fast which is nice in the mornings when you don't have a lot of time. I have tried other flat irons and they just did not make my hair as silky and soft and this one does. I love it!!!!

I have had this straightener since March 2010, and it works really well. It gets my hair super straight, and it is always shiny. However, mine has had some manufacturer defects over time. The plates have been shifting out of alignment, which causes my hair to get snagged. And today the power cord fell out. I am glad I purchased the two year protection plan, and will be reordering this iron once I receive my credit. Overall, I am very satisfied with this iron!

My sister-in-law had one of these and recommended it to me when my CHI quit working. I tried hers and it was amazing. It's a much better product than the CHI. I love overstock.com and have had great luck with all of the products that I've purchased over the years. When I started my search to purchase the CROC, I didn't even think to look at overstock.com until it came up in my Google search. This is by far the best deal on this flat iron that I've seen and I did quite a bit of research. It came in quickly and in perfect condition. It's even better than I remember - it gets SO hot and heats up in a matter of seconds. If you're pretty picky about flat irons (like I am), you'll be so happy with this professional quality flat iron. This is one GREAT deal!
