The croc flat iron heats up extreamly fast. It straightens really fast and leaves your hair feeling super soft. I use it on dry, very wavy hair and it cut the time considerably from my old iron. I now straighten my hair more often because it is so easy and fast. My daughter uses it on damp hair and it also works fast and her hair is really shiny. I am hoping the one issues is just an rare issue. After a week of using the iron the cord to handle started shorting out and turns the iron off. If you readjust the rotating cord you can turn it back on. They are quicky sending out a replacement.
This is a fantastic hair iron. I don't have particularly difficult hair, but it is long and it goes from wet to completely straight and dry in about 30 minutes. Keeps my hair from getting frizzy, even on super humid Miami days.
I am so happy to finally be happy! I have owned a Chi for the past five years...apparently that is a fabulous lifespan for a Chi...It finally stopped performing and I asked my stylist what she used on my hair she used a Croc so before buying I looked all over the internet and came very close to purchasing many of the "other" High end irons but I am so happy I went with my gut and bought the Croc. I was amazed at how fast it got hot and that I knew exactly when it was ready! I don't know if I will use wet to dry component but it is nice to know I don't have to fully finish drying my hair :)
I was very happy with this flat iron. It heats up very quickly and I like that the on/off switch is on top of the iron--not underneath. I was always forgetting to turn it off and burning myself on my old one! Love, love it. . especially for the price!
This flat iron is absolutely wonderful!! I was looking into buying a new flat iron and read a lot of reviews and decided to go with an original Chi. I'm not sure if the one I purchased was defective or just not as great as everyone says they are. I returned the Chi and after reading the reviews on Overstock and a few other websites, I decided to try the Croc. What a great decision!! I love it. As one of the other reviewers said, it's miles ahead of the Chi. Overstocks price was great and their Customer Service was wonderful! I would definitely recommend buying flat iron!!
