  I love it. It does not "catch" my shorter beard hairs and snag them, like my old one was doing. It is pretty powerful, so it plows right through the hair. Settings are from 0.4 to 5.0, The only thing I would say is you should work from the longest length, backwards, if you are trying to gauge the right length. I started at 1.0 setting, and ended up with 2:30 shadow. My bears is usually a 5-day growth length. Oops! My fault. The only negative I can think of is that it is a little more difficult to get the hair just under the nose (on the mustache) than with the smaller trimmers, but I'm find with that. This is a great facial hair trimmer!

  I haven't tried full-on haircuts, but for trims and touch-ups this has worked very well. Battery power is sufficient, and easy to use corded as well. Haven't been using it long enough to provide feedback on battery life. Comes with all the usual attachments, and it's easy to clean and lubricate. good buy for the price.

  Good trimmer but is not "mess free"

  This trimmer does everything it claims to except trim "mess free." I considered returning it but it does have some convenient features. Pros: +very easy and simple to dial in different hair lengths +also easy to remove length selector and use to shape +holds charge well Cons: -compared to trimmer without a vacuum it leaves less hair in the sink but is definitely not "mess-free" If the vacuum was stronger it would probably pick up more hair instead of letting it fall. Overall, there may be a better vacuum trimmer out there that is truly "mess-free."

  The one I received was not sharp. Used it on straight hair and it did not cut well. It tuged and pulled at the hair even though the hair was short. I guess I just got a bad one. I sent back.

  My husband loves this trimmer. He said it doesn't vacuum all the hairs but its not enough to complain about. Very good purchase for the price.
