  I have a balance disorder and though I should have started using a shower stool long before now, I never really felt increased safety with the shower benches and shower chairs I have tried. They all seemed to wobble or seemed like they would tip over during the shower. This bench is totally different! It almost makes the shower feel like I am in a spa. I can relax and not worry about my safety. I probably take longer showers now and I look forward to them now. My only concern is I am not quite sure how you are suppose to rinse your bum. If you scoot forward then you have the potential of sliding off. Leaning side to side is safer and somewhat effective. At this stage of the game, when I hang the shower nozzle back up I do a final rinse. All in all I love it! Gotta go...my shower is calling.

  I was looking for a shower bench for a friend that his weighed well over 433 lbs and could not stand long in the shower and I saw this and I got it for him I was thinking I hope this work out for him well it did and he love it

  This is a sturdy product when assembled as directed. My only complaint is that it is a little difficult to assemble- thus the four stars, not five. That said, it's still a good value for the price.

  I used this product for my ailing mother. It was very helpful in her bathing. It also allowed me to sit on the end if she felt insecure. I referred several people to this site because these items are so expensive locally.
