We bought this heating pad after looking through-out the internet. My husband wanted the biggest heating pad that we could find so that it would cover his back and this one does. It's also great to wrap around my ankle that I just had a tendon reconstruction surgery. I would recommend this heating pad to a friend. It's moist heat is really cool because our old heating pad was dry. I don't know how it does it but it definately feels moist.

I love this heating pad. I have terrible upper back muscle knots that regular deep tissue massage therapy cannot help. For years I've used a square microwavable rice heating pad but the heat only was lasting less than 5 minutes so I was constantly reheating it in the microwave. When I saw this heating pad for such a great price (with great reviews), I ordered it. I am glad I did. I have had this a little over a month now and I've used it consistently 5-7 hours per day - everyday! It works great and I love the auto shut-off feature so I never have to worry about leaving it on. The setting choices are 15 minutes, 30 min, 45 or 60. I run it at 60 minutes continuously. It had 4 heat settings too ranging from 113 to 166. I run it at the highest each time. I want to note that the first time you use it, it seems like it take 20 minutes at least to get to 166 degrees. I notice that after I've run it for 60 minutes, it is very hot (the way that works great on my back). When you first get the unit, you need to wash the pillow case cover.....fuzz was coming off it and all over my clothes and furniture. I put it in the wash and then took duct tape to get more fuzz/lint off. It is perfect now. Highly recommend.

This is the second thermotech heating pad i've bought. both sizes have their uses this is the larger one. i like the temperature control and the time control. this one is large enough to cover my entire back or whatever area i need. i have spinal stenosis and sometimes, heat is the only comfort...moist heat. this heating pad is heavy enough and substantial enough that the heat penetrates my back easing some of my discomfort. definitely a keeper.

Great product!! Only problem is the lowest heating is often too warm for me. Large pad is much better than a regular size one.

I purchased this large heating pad for my back and use it several times a day. I am disappointed that the 'moist' function is taken from the humidity in the air, so it doesn't feel moist at all. I thought it would be wonderfully moist heat which I love at the physical therapist's office.

I would recommended to any one who is looking for something that actually works. This Thermo Pad is exceptional the best money I ever SPENT on something that is truely wonderful and does exactly what it says it would do. The control for the settings is perfect, the time and the amount of heat that comes out is great. Highly recommended, the best Pad I ever had. THE HEATING ELEMENT INSIDE THE HEATING PAD HAS A PULSATING EFFECT, WHICH IS AMAZING FOR THE PROBLEM AREA.

I bought both this Thermotech heating pad and the shoulder/neck version as well. My intention is to use it in my massage practice and at home. I like the 4 heat options and the 4 timing options of 15 minute increments. I hope this will last a long time and that it is as well made as a similar product my office made has and I have used for a number of years. I like the weight and feel of the fabrics used and it folds up and is easy to pack in my in home session carry bag. I feel the price is compatible and affordable which is why I invested in both of them, because they treat different areas of the body.

I've had issues with back pain for a few years now and been through MANY other heating pads. While there's no doubt that this is probably the best of the best, and I do love the larger king size, the temps settings on this pad, even at their lowest, tend to run a little high. If you are someone who likes to lay on top of the pad please be careful because even at the 113 degree lowest setting (I've never dared use anything higher) and with the flannel cover and clothing on, I still experienced burning on my back in the shape of the pad's coils which I just recently noticed. I'm not sure who will ever use this at the 160 degrees setting, but if you do, do NOT lay on it; might take a while for the burns on my back to completely disappear and I will be using it a lot less as a result, just glad it's not summer! I've never had this issue with another pad.

Checked out the temp settings and the speed at which the pad heated up. Temp was spot on and the time was pretty quick. Product is used to warm tools used during massage (bamboo sticks, basalt stones, etc.) and really fits the bill. Greeat product at great price.

I use a heating pad every night. This is by far the best one I have ever owned. It is very large and offers four heat settings. It is so comfortable you'll forget you're laying on it. It doesn't have that "plastic" feel like the ones you buy at your local drug store. I love this heating pad and highly recommend it!

Could not find a product of this caliber anywhere. It works great and the timer makes it easy to set and forget.l We had puchased 2 others from a drug store and returned them because they did not heat and curled up. This one gets as hot as you want.
