These gel toe tubes do the trick by cushioning the toe that is sore.They wash well and are reusuable.My podiatrist has almost the same thing and these are the closest I've found to them.

gel toe
Surprised by the length of each gel tube. Directions say you can cut in multiple pieces ???? One gel tube only covers one hammer toe. Don't know what you would use it for if you cut it. Overall because of small size is not a good value. I have bought packages elsewhere with tubes long enough to cut into multiple pieces and the cost was much better.

Great idea, wimpy reality
I've used toe gels before to minimize rubbing between two toes. I was thrilled to see these, but have been less than thrilled since I have received them. The diameter of the tube is good (not too big), but the thickness of the tube itself is insufficient. The tube is so soft and thin that it works off my toe during the day, balling up in the end of my sock and providing no benefit! I will keep looking for more substantial gel tubes...
